We're loving our new Gas Range, but haven't used the griddle yet. What process do you recommend for seasoning the griddle, and what how do you recommend we clean it? Thank you,

My mom has had this griddle for over 2 years now, and she absolutely loves it. She was a chef for well over 25 years and said it has one of the best and well made surfaces she has used, outside of work. She always advices to clean it with warm water and a gentle scrubbing. She also tends to add a bit of water to the surface without spilling, brings it close to boiling without letting the water evaporate, then washes it. This has helped keep the quality of the griddle well.

Sticky griddle

The griddle surface is rough and sticky. Tried to cook pancakes on flat side and they stuck to griddle. Tried to cook bacin on rigid side and bacon stuck. The surface seems rough rather than smooth. Not sure if there is a non sticky version

We just bought this gas grill and used the griddle the first time for burgers. We don't know how to clean it. it's too big for the sinks and other websites say not to put it in the dishwasher. I did spray it with cooking spray first, though it would help make cleaning easier.

We just bought our new stove. I love all the features, but had to track down what kind of a surface I am cooking with on this griddle. It heated up fast and cleaned bacon up fast. This web site says it's aluminum but I'd like to know what kind of non-stick coating it has? Is it going to scrape off with stainless steel utinsils? Please be more specific in your description of accessories. I am very picky about the surfaces I cook my families food on. I'm loving my new gas range and air frier though!

I'm not sure how to clean because it says it's made of aluminum in one place and cast iron in another. Typically, with cast iron, you don't use soap or put in the dishwasher, but this says it is dishwasher safe. Could you clarify? Also, can I cook on both sides?

Bowed and cupped. Up about 1/2" up in center of griddle side. Eggs slide right to the edge away from center. Don't even try bacon. Grill side works good but rocks side to side the stove. I've got replacements sent. They are all the same. Junk. Do Not Waist Your $$.

I purchased a brand new Frigidaire Gallery 30'' Front Control Gas Range with Air Fry two weeks ago and this lovely griddle makes all the difference. It™™s very heavy and Frigidaire recommends heating 30 minutes before use. I™™m all glad to have this and plan to use for a variety of items. Easy to clean.
