Our main idea was to replace a chest freezer that was hard to locate items in. This is much nicer with shelves and door compartments. The delivery was professional and courteous. The instructions for reversing the door to the other side could have been a little clearer in my opinion.

Plenty of room for a single person or small family. I was used to a handle to open the door & it's a little hard to get used to just a large slot on the side of the door, but not too bad.

I have wanted a self defrosting freezer for some time. The freezer has enough room to hold all the casserole i make for the church holiday market and room to spare. The Frigidaire freezer is quiet as it does its job to freeze newly purchased food.

We've only had it for a short time, but it continues to do what it is supposed to...refrigerate. I especially like the option to reverse the doors, which we did. Also, the very bright interior light is very nice. It rolls easily along our vinyl floor also.

We love the room in our upright freezer. We also like the ease of finding things inside. The only problem we have had is opening it. It sometimes is almost impossible. We learned that this is normal due to a vacuum created inside which dissipates in a few minutes. Overall we are enjoying our freezer.

I like my new freezer mainly because it is frost free. I have had a Frigidaire upright freezer for over 20 years and it was still going strong, but it was not frost free. I liked the size of it better than the new one. It was shorter and much deeper. The new one is taller and has one more shelf than the old one, but it is very shallow compared to the old one. Also the compartments on the door are not as deep as the old one. Old one seems to be much heavier and better built and I would have just kept it if it was frost free, but I didn't want to defrost it any more. I'm sure I will get used to the new one in time, but it doesn't hold near as much as the old one.
