I have had my machine at least a couple years and even though it's been down and waiting for part to come in since June 9th that wasn't a big deal . I've been on the phone with customer service so many times trying to find out what's going on with my part that I already paid for and also $99.00 they were suppose to debit back to my account and every week they say in 3-5 days it will be there. They are suppose to be out on july 24th to fix my machine can't wait to see how that turns out. This is not even the whole story this is putting it mildly and only half of what I have been through. Feel sorry for their customer service, they have such poor management. I'm such a decent person when I call in because I know it's not their fault how awful they do people. It's sad because I love my washer dryer stackable I purchased but because of what you have to go through to get it serviced I will never own another frigidaire in my lifetime. I have never been through this with anything I've ever owned.

AWFUL and now discontinued go figure!

I purchased this in October of 2017 I should have know that when the first one was directive and had to be replaced and at year one the drain hose was broken under warranty had to be replaced. Now the computer board is broken and after the spin cycle is filling back up with water. Its pretty bad when the service company tells you waste of money to repair..... And the company will do nothing about it knowing this unit is a bad model. Also the repair company said they have SEVERAL with the same issue in their shop and they dont fix them. Very disappointed with the company and also service if there is a common theme you would think they would do a recall and fix.

I bought this machine about a month ago & I'm already impressed with it. It took me a couple times to get used to the HE type machine (from an older regular washer) but other than that, it's done the job quite well. I agree that if i put the dryer setting on "normal" then it will take a couple cycles so I just leave it on high temp. The only problem I have is the lint filter. After drying white towels, especially, you have to be careful opening the dryer or lint will blow out of the dryer & the opening gets lint dust all around it. I find the machine very quiet except for when it's finishing the spin cycle; it then sounds like it's coming in for a landing but other than that it's really a step up from my previous w/d combination. It would have been nice to have a chime reminder when the washer is finished (it does take at least 45 minutes to wash a load.) I love the look; in fact, I bought it specifically for the polished gray look.

Wishing I didn't rent...

Less then 3 weeks old and its discolored clothing, torn off a leg from a pair of pants and is extremely load with long cycles. The front screws near the lint trap ketch EVERYTHING, I yank wouds of weigst length hair and strands of clothing (and no kidding a whole leg of a nearly brand new pair of jean!). Beeps every few mins for 30 mins before going to sleep (mother to a 4 year old, he comes first before running to get laundry on the first beep). Dryer takes twice as long as the washer, so back to back loads are a no go. Today to top it all off it stopped spinning all together. It keeps telling me it's not balanced and refuses to spin no matter how balanced the load is. After distribting the clothing 4 times the lock even stopped working. If your future appartment has one of these Do NOT rent! Cheap appliance! Please run!

This unit has never worked properly since I purchased it back February of 2017. It has been worked on three different time and still no go. I have wasted valuable days of my life waiting for this horrible dryer to dry my stuff. Good luck getting your bath towels or minens dry in less than three ninety minute dry cycles. I'm not surprised they discontinued this junk pile within a couple of years of its inception. As far as I'm concerned they should be replacing these junks for free to anyone that was so unlucky enough to have spent a thousand bucks of their hard earned money on it!

Just had old washer dryer replaced by this new one. I fails to dry so many times that we already plan for it. Light loads end up damp, my delicates take triple dryer sessions, do we really need so many beeps!? The washer has chewed on one long sleeve shirt and a thin comforter. The washer is loud. I had no choice in the replacement and my management has asked me to give a chance. The WORST part is the washer latch; sometimes it releases right after beeps other times it varies up to 7-10min later. c'est la vie

I purchased this unit just over a year ago and the entire drum is rusted out. Frigidaire does not consider this a manufacturer warranty defect. Zero coverage. OTHER ISSUES: The dryer does not dry in one cycle, usually takes two or more. If clothes are left longer than 30 minutes after the washer has completed its cycle, they smell. Occasionally clothes are sopping wet when the cycle is finished Unit is extremely loud

I have had it literally ™€œ chew holes™€ in 2 sets of sheets and other clothing, if I™€™m not close by when it stops filling so I can switch settings and add more water. It may be ™€œenergy efficient™€ but it™€™s not saving me much if I have to buy new clothes and bedding every few months. I™€™m really disappointed. As I had previously reviewed the item and was given a recommendation. I followed it to the dot. Well after trying everything it still leaves the dark color with dirty water stains. Which leads me to believe that lighter colors are dirty except the stains are not as visible. I literally was just hung up by the customer service rep. Horrible customer service!!!

It fit in the little laundry closet quite well and worked great! The wash was done quickly and the clothes were always perfectly clean. The dryer worked great as well! We both this unit about 6 weeks ago and couldn't be happier! Our home was built in the 1970s and the washer/dryer connections were placed in opposite diagonal corners of the large kitchen -- definitely not attractive or convenient. Moved the drain and washer connection to the dryer area and installed this laundry center. Love the way it looks in its new location and like the additional space it has opened up. Cleans and dries clothes well and is much quieter than our previous washer.

In our second load ever, there was a rock in the washer and had to call a tech but the first load was a load that would not have a rock or anything of that nature at all. Then on the 4th load the lock malfunctioned and had to call a tech again. So far it has been working just fine since but super frustrating that it is brand new and we've encountered issues right out the gate.

I was so excited to get this stackable! The delivery was smooth and so is the operation of this machine. I have had small and very large loads and everything comes out beautiful. I love the dryer which is very quiet (I have had to go in and be sure it is still running) and all the different temps for both washer and dryer make any wash day almost bearable....(I hate doing laundry). I fell in love with the outside and am now thrilled with the workings of the entire system.

I'm pretty particular about washing clothes correctly, so I'm well aware that I'm not using too much soap, putting the soap in first, using dryer balls for lint collection in the dryer, and actually reading clothing instructions. I'm not someone who just throws everything in and hopes for the best. So keep that in mind...I've lived in a lot of apartments, and used a lot of laundromats, and currently I'm in the nicest apartment I've ever lived in and they use this washer/dryer. It's the first time I've ever had literally every article of clothing destroyed in two gentle washes. The dryer basically microwaves your clothes so things will go from a size medium to literally doll sized when it's set to "less dry" and on the lowest heat setting. It gets worse too: washer doesn't seem to actually wash clothes, lint and dust spews all over your clothes in the dryer and in the underside (there are hole openings) of the front door part, and all around the edge of the dryer, making it obvious it's destroying your clothes but also makes it impossible to ever actually have clean clothes. If an apartment or house has this washer dryer and you can't replace it, run.

I love this new washer/dryer unit! It is compact enough to fit well in my small closet, yet offers enough space in the washer and dryer for me to wash my largest item - my comforter. I use liquid detergent and put it in the washer before my clothes, then add my clothes in after that, rolling them into a ball as the instructions indicate. I've had no issue with extra detergent being on some of the clothing, as I read that in some of the reviews before purchasing this unit. As for the dryer, it gets things dry pretty quickly most of the time, depending on which of the 9 dryer features you select. I was using the casual cycle for some of the time and found that my jeans were still a little wet, so they required additional cycles, however, using the 60 minute feature did get a load of jeans dry for me. I usually will now reserve using the casual cycle for lighter weight items like t-shirts. All in all, the unit works great, looks great, and was a reasonable price! It's nice having the convenience of it being right in my apartment.

I bought this model after doing much research. I am very happy with the features and how the washer and dryer both function. The washer spins the clothes very well to get more water out of them than any other machine I've used which greatly cuts down on drying time. I can even clean a king size comforter with this unit!

From the initial installation (*not Frigidaire's responsibility clearly) until today this machine has been a nightmare. The installers didn't access the drain properly and it flooded our basement - took MONTHS to get it up and running. Had it running (loudly, LONG cycles, insufficient drying) just over a year and it stopped working mid-cycle. Took almost 3 weeks to get running again. Now, less than 6 months after "repair" it is leaking / flooding our basement again. Absolutely the worst appliance I have ever owned.

A washup on the unit.

We purchased this Laundry Center in August 2016. A year and a month later it stopped working. After more then $300 a repair man got it working again. Now just today the lid won't unlock and it won't turn on at all. We paid over $1400 for this unit and are very unhappy with it. I believe it is a lemon and want a new unit. When we first called Frigidaire (9/2017) regarding the problem, they said, because it was over a year old (by one month) and we had already called a repair person on it, there was nothing they could do. My husband and I are the only ones who gently use the unit. We haven't decide yet to soak more $ into this Laundry Center or go buy a new brand. Very Discouraged with laundry to do.
