Nice looking appliance lends a sleek design to our modern kitchen. It™€™s definitely a good value for the low price. I like the quick actions (for example, simply push 1 and a minute of cooking time is launched). A few downsides: the keypad isn™€™t distinguished enough under the button cover for easy press operation. Sometimes you may have to move your finger around a bit in order to push your selection. Second, the unit sounds ™€œtinny™€ or cheap when the door is open and shut (which obviously happens every time you use it). A sign of low quality parts that I™€™m hoping will last. Last, the light only has one setting and is not a pleasant illumination that is warm and appealing.Overall, the microwave accomplishes what™€™s it™€™s built to do and we are happy with the purchase.

Not Good!Right after purchase and install, the microwave was extremely loud when running. Called and had it looked at under the warranty. Guy came out and replaced something and said all good. Did not offer to run it while he was here. I tested after he left and it was still exactly the same. Called back and requested a replacement, but service advised Frigidaire would not approve, so came out and replaced a different part. It was quiet until recently when the year warranty was up and now it is extremely loud again. Can not even be in the same room while it is going! Very Very disappointed.

Worked great for 2 years then died - beware or get extended warranty

We found this microwave and loved that it was the right size and had zero clearance hinges - key feature with why we went with Frigidaire. Suddenly lights worked, turntable worked but it wouldn't heat anymore after. While customer service rep was polite, they could do nothing for us except offer to pay for parts. Labor was going to be $170 minimum. If microwave was not able to be repaired after attempting repair, they were willing to give rebate of $140 towards another unit. It just wasn't logical to repair it. It's disappointing that they don't last. Ultimately, we had to rebuy due to space and hinge restrictions but we did get the extended warranty this time, something I don't feel you should have to do.

Internal short and no customer support.

Had this for just 2 years then it developed an internal short. No customer support. Definitely am not a happy customer. Last microwave was a Maytag and it lasted 14 years. Could not find the brand locally anymore so went with this poc Frigidaire. Never again!!!

I replaced my Frigidaire 1.6 cu ft , 30 in, Gallery Series, Over the Range Microwave Oven with a new Frigidaire Over the Range Microwave on July 13, 2020. The Gallery Series microwave gave my family 12 years of excellent service. The replacement microwave is very quiet. It throughly heats the food. My only complaint so far is that the door is a little hard to open. I pray that this microwave will give me as many years of excellent satisfaction as the Gallery Series did.
