Good fit for our small window

Needed to purchase a new 12K BTU Window AC since the new windows that were installed were to small for the AC we had. This unit does a decent cooling but does taken a little longer (1-2hrs) to cool the 1st floor compared to the older one we had.

I™€™ve only had this unit for a few weeks but it works pretty well. It cools the main living area down and even reaches my bedroom, which doesn™€™t have a window compatible with AC units.The eco mode seems to shut off before the whole room feels a lot cooler, so at night in order for me to feel the temp drop in my room I need to leave the AC running full-time, but thats pretty understandable considering I™€™m sleeping in a different room from where it is.There are a bunch of features on the unit that I haven™€™t explored, they don™€™t feel particularly necessary but seem nice to have.Assuming this unit holds up, I™€™ll definitely be happy with my purchase.

So far, I've had no problems with this ac. It cools the room quickly and hasn't had a problem keeping it cool even in 90 degree weather. This model was the BTU we needed at a much lower price than other brands and were pleased with our purchase.

Takes a good amount of work to properly install, but it definately cools the space we wanted to cool. Two things we do not care for are: No setting where the unit remains on all the time and just cycles the compresssor as needed (fan always on) and the light intrusion from the vents (make of foam and light comes right through). Other than that it does what we wanted it to do....provide cool air when needed. Will have to see how it performs during the Florida summer months.

The upstairs bedrooms were getting pretty hot. I had single smaller air conditioners in each of the 2 rooms and one of them was not cooling very well. Decided to replace it with the bigger 12,000 btu Frigidaire window unit which was the best thing I have decided to do in years! Not only did it cool the large bedroom it was installed in, in about 15 minutes, but also the adjoining bedroom without having the smaller unit in that room running. Needless to say,power bills went down and the rooms stay cooler!

Bought this to replace my 10 year old LG Air Conditioner. Gets cold fast and the Eco mode really helps a lot. The weight and noise is not really an issue, you should expect this since this unit is a 12,000 BTU A/C. Got this on sale which made it a great purchase.
