We bought this stove just a little over a month ago. I must say the front where the knobs are it is cheaply made. Scratches so easily and the silver has separated from the black plastic. I have contacted customer service but have yet to have a repair person come out. Part was ordered and was told it would be a week well it has been over two now.

Frigidaire Slide-In Induction Range

This Frigidaire range is manufactured in the United States! And although the quality is excellent in my opinion, the price was less than other brands that are owned by other countries (example: GE). Frigidaire parts and service are available from local companies. The induction burner technology is the most efficient and safer to use, while the smooth cooktop is easiest to clean. Front burner controls are easily accessible without reaching over the hot pans for rear panel controls especially for senior citizens and from wheelchairs etc. Induction approved pots and pans are now common and can be used on other burner types as well.

BRAND NEW NOT WORKING PROPERLY

We bought this based on previous great experience with a Induction range. The features we were used to with our previous range were the power boost boil and the ease of cleaning. We are so unhappy with this model. the burners are supposed to fit different size pans and this one does not. Also, the power boost for boiling does not work. Frigidaire has sent out three techs and the last visit, the inside manager said to use cast iron which we did and it took nine minutes to boil on two of the burners. We are so unhappy with this new appliance in our new home.

We have had our Frigidair induction stove for 7 months and absolutly love it! I am continually amazed how quickly it boils water when making pasta. We don™€™t have to worry if our grandkids are helping cook that they will get burned from the hot surface or tuching a hot surface if they accidently turn the knob as it will not go on unless there us a pot there

I love the fast heat opion on my induction stove. Cooks faster and heats up real fast. Oven cook times are shorter then your standard electric burner stoves. Sometimescan be difficult to remove stains off the glass top. Other than that got a great price from lowes!

Came with flaws - still working at fixing them

My range came with the left rail of the bottom drawer unscrewed to the frame and with scratches on part 19, the front panel, which is made of a grayish white plastic covered with a black lacquer. Why not make it in solid black plastic. The black lacquer was chipped or scratched off in multiple places. The first replacement part also came with flaws. We are now installing a second replacement part, which also came with a minor flaw, but we are giving up of receiving a part 19 in mint condition. Bottomline: we are not impressed with the finish quality of this product, which is supposed to be a high-end product from Frigidaire.As far as functionality is concerned, I like the integrated timer, and the ease of programming baking time and other timer to keep track of cooking times. Transitioning to induction cooking is challenging, as temperatures and cooking times need to be adjusted.Another challenge: It is hard to season carbon steel and cast iron pans on the stove top, as it is not recommended to heat up a pan with nothing inside at high temperatures. Hopefully, those induction-ready pans will season with use.

First-time induction range

Disappointed in the range-top induction large burner. Had to call service. They said large pans/skillet won't work on large burner because of the design of induction properties on the bottom of the pans and how they work with the burner. All induction cookware I had worked fine on the free-standing NuWave induction cooktop I had for years. Control panel sticks out in front of range and need to bend to reach back burners and occasionally engage burner controls. Not crazy about air blowing out at you in front of the range.

Got this a month ago made a lot of noise. Repairman saidI need a new cooling fan. Came back put into fan still very loud. Problem is cooling fan rubs against metal bracket info the cooktop. Engineering flaw. Fixed temporarily by shimming the top with metal washers. Waiting to here how to really fix it.

I bought this stove two months ago during a remodel, in lieu of upgrading from electric to gas. The induction is amazing! It cooks af least 3x faster than our old range. The only odd thing is that there is a fan on the front underside of the cooktop that whirs and blows out pretty cool air as you cook. It's not too loud, I've just gotten used to it. It's a nice looking piece as well.

The Induction cooktop is amazing. Pans heat up quickly and evenly. A spill on the side of the pan in no problem. That heats as well. Since the heat is in the pan, forgetting to turn off the burner is no problem. Induction cooks as well as gas while safer than gas or other electric options. The stove is especially appropriate for seniors. Since the heat is in the pan, cleaning the cooktop is easy. Food is not baked on. In time there may be savings in electricity use.The Convection oven is great. Cooking is faster and very even. One wonders why there is a "Bake" option.This is the best range I have ever seen.

I had an Electrolux glass top range for 20 years. Bought this new glass top induction range so I could donate my perfectly good appliances and Saladmaster cookware to a flood victim. Bought all new stainless cookware for induction ranges. I am sorely disappointed in this range. The back left burner does not work sometimes.......the range itself is very noisy when using the range top and also the oven. The worse complaint I have is that the top scratches every time I use it! It seems that it will scratch just by looking at it! I am shaking my head to think I paid the amount of $$$$$$ for it and am having this problem. I never had this problem with my old range. So very very very disappointed and angry.........!!!!!!! I do not recommend to anyone that actually cooks.

The oven stopped working about 6 months after I bought it and now I have a expensive stove top with warming drawer .

We've had the induction range installed for about a month and it is great. This is the first time we've used an induction cooktop and it is amazing. The unit is very attractive and works awesome.

I ordered my stove in June, 2017. There was a back order situation so we had to wait for it. When it was delivered, the door was dented. The company let us keep the damaged one until they could get a replacement sent. That took several weeks. The new stove was delivered and it, too, was dented. We received our third stove in early September and it was good. As for the stove itself, it is terrific. The induction cook top is really outstanding and the oven is top-notch as well. It took a while but we are very satisfied with the appliance.

Wonderful stove

I love this stove. Is a little different than the electric stove I was used to but it didn't take me long to become accustomed to it. It out performes my old electric stove many time over. It cooks faster and more efficiently. I am so glad I bought it. I had purchased a Frigidaire Refrigerator 6 months ago and I wanted a stove from the same company. I am so glad I found this one.

Love it, but....

Cooks great, induction is FAST, controllable, and doesn't heat up the kitchen like my old gas range did. Easy to clean. Oven bakes very well. One issue, though, on two elements the hot surface indicator will not go out and the repairman - even with factory help -has not been able to fix this yet. This gives me concern for long term reliability.

Cooks fast! Easy to clean. Lots of useful features. I really enjoy cooking again without the mess of cleaning the "ins and outs' of burners and grates. The one flaw that I see is that the control panel is not water proof and will short out if a wet sponge is used on it.

Two Burners failed after 24 days

I bought this range on 3/23/17 and it was installed on 4/04/17. For the first three weeks, everything worked perfectly. Then, on 4/28/17 two burners failed and gave us error messages of EO 78 EU 78. I called your customer service and your rep could not give us any guidance or identify through her manual exactly what the codes meant. We limped through with two working burners until the authorized repairman assessed the problems on 5/09/17. He thought that replacing the two modules would restore the cook top to working order, but that was not to be. On 5/16/17, he and his supervisor worked for a couple of hours on the module replacement and somehow, during the repair, the two working burners failed. The technician spent time on the phone with Frigidaire and now believes that by replacing the generators and the modules, the induction cooktop will be fixed. I can only hope so.......but anticipate that the next repair attempt will be not be until 5/23/17 at the earliest.......and at this point, the cooktop is inoperable and the range is cut-off at the breaker. I fear that we may have purchased a "lemon" and do not have confidence that I will have the fifteen years of good service that I had with my "old" 2002 Frigidaire Electric Range. Please know that we are being patient, but are greatly inconvenienced by having no stove and are having to eat out way more frequently than ever. This scenario should never have happened in the first month of operation.

Loud fan. Very loud. Oven racks rattle from fan.

Bought end of 2016. Loved the working unit on display. Our unit has been serviced twice. The induction-approved pots and pans were not providing uniform heating speeds. Turns out we needed to upgrade to cast iron. We did. That fixed one issue. The next issue is a very loud cooling fan that resides below the stove and above the oven. The fan is so loud the oven racks RATTLE! That issue remains after a second service call. Giving up and will toss out this stove after Q2 bonus from work. If I was deaf then 5 stars but luckily am not so 2 stars.
