I purchased mine from an appliance store. They couldn't deliver until Sept. 16th. We had no instructions. I have been playing around with instruction book and buttons since we picked it up.

The AC is moderately quiet (in comparison to my previous in-wall AC). The remote is very nice, and the automatic options are good (i.e the "sleep" or "eco" modes).If the AC would be just about 10 to 15 decibel quieter (especially for those with light sleep) it would be a 5 stars in my opinion and perfect. Apart from that, this a very good AC. It is pretty heavy though. Greatly recommend having a second hand to help you carry it and install it.

Love my new Frigidaire in wall a/c. It is quite- love the dry feature which takes the humidity out of the room. Cools very quickly my area of living room, kitchen n dining room.

Works great and is ice cold. Replaced a much more expensive unit from another brand and outperforms it by a long shot. Will only by Frigidaire from now on.

This unit is terrible. It does not make cold air and the company says it out of warranty. Because you are going by purchased date not pick up date. Awful Awful

3rd update. Read previous reviews. Zero stars. Unit is 2 years old! So I called for repair and was charged the initial trip and diagnostic fee just to find out they can't fix. It has a leak and would cost more to fix than buy a new one. Then after checking prices he told me THEY DON'T SELL REPAIR PARTS FOR ANY OF THESE UNITS!!! Yeah the service man was surprised at that information too! THEY DON'T SELL REPAIR PARTS FOR THESE UNITS....I called Frigidaire originally and they gave me numbers to call for service in my area....THEY FAILED TO TELL ME THEY DON'T SELL REPAIR PARTS FOR THESE UNITS!!! If I had known that information I wouldn't have called for service. I would have just bought a new unit. If you have a problem out of warranty don't bother calling Frigidaire or a repair man. They can't help you. You have to buy a new unit because THEY DON'T SELL REPAIR PARTS FOR THESE UNITS!!! 2 YEARS OLD!!!

You can see my previous review had 4 stars. Mainly for noise. I'm writing an updated review and giving it one star. I would give it a zero if I could. I've only had the unit for 2 years and I already have to get it fixed! I called Frigidaire and was told these units last 10 years but because my warranty ran out I'm responsible for paying to get it fixed. 2 YEARS OLD!!! Now I'm required to pay who knows what to get it repaired or possibly having to buy a new one for $600 or more. Frigidaire should be taking care of this...PERIOD! Do I pay to get it fixed then find out I have to buy a new one anyway? That's not something I should have to figure out or do when the unit is only 2 years old!

I thought replacing my (working) very old wall a/c would be worth all the money, but it is not with this unit. Way too loud for 2023 energy star unit. Can hardly see the light as to which function it is on. Remote does not show which function it is on, so if I didn™™t use a step stool to see I would have no idea which function it is on. Directions are awful as far as sleep and timer

Very pleased with my A/C, I find it most efficient and quiet. The store I purchased it from, SK Lavery in Old Saybrook, CT, the sales person and staff were wonderful and understanding in meeting my needs. This A/C is in addition to other Frigidaire products in my home.

After meticulously following the installation instructions, the unit will not turn on. The LED lights do not illuminate, and when the power is turned on, you can hear a motor straining that I presume is meant to turn the fan. After a couple of minutes the compressor kicks in, but the fan never turns. Part of the trim near the cord is broken, which was not apparent, because it was on the bottom of the unit, and couldn™™t be observed, until the air conditioner was lifted into the sleeve.

The air conditioner is very good. You can set it for a particular temperature and then it goes off, when it reaches the temp. I like the idea that it has a remote control. The only thing I am disappointed about is that it is loud.

Great looking AC Just replaced a 53 year old through the wall ac with this unit. Cools great the only issue we have with it is that it is not as quiet on low as our old one Other than so far it™™s seems to be great.

I have the same problem as "Need cool air in NYC". I bought Model FHTC123WA12 (12,000BTU) and it blows cold air only about 25% of the time. Most of the time it's blowing room temperature air. Can someone please help me with suggestions on how to solve this problem. It's so frustrating. Thank you in advance.

I like the unit. It works very well for my size place. My negatives....I do find it a little loud so while it's running I have to crank the volume on my TV. Not sure if that's something that can be fixed. I imagine it's not. So I can live with it. The other thing is I can't run it while I'm sleeping. The unit turns on and off periodically throughout the night. Which in turn wakes me up multiple times throughout the night. I also don't believe there is a fix for that except to train myself to get used to it. Which I don't think I can do even with earplugs. For now I'm running a floor fan on me while I sleep. It works well and probably saves me some money. But overall I think it's a good unit.
