This a/c is a very good unit. Cool the room very fast and is a very good price to pay for a unit that is excellent.I am glad that I purchased it . I recommend this unit. Easy remote and easy to use. Have had excellent experience with Frigidaire AC units in the past and I could tell this one had the same expected quality right out of the box. This is a solid well working unit. However, I have noticed an internal rattling sound while running, Hoping it doesn't get worse or cause problems down the line. Overall it's much quieter than my previous Frigidaire unit, but that rattle is concerning. At least it's under warranty I suppose, but I'd really hate to have to go through uninstalling and returning.

I reviewed and researched for 10 days before purchase decision. Clearly, it was the best bang for the buck. By far. 8,000 BTUs for under $300! It is perfect in a living room window.The air is cold, the remote is great. We love it!

This unit uses the remote as a temperature sensor which helps it to cool down to the actual set temp unlike other models that cycle between what is called actual cooling versus just a fan running while the room coos down

This unit is plenty powerful for my small apartment. Cools my bedroom and eventually the adjoining living and kitchen area. I won't say it's noisy, just that it's not particularly quiet, like most A/C's. Not so bad on lower fan levels. The remote is a nice feature.

While my purchase was unplanned as our existing fridge died, I™™m very happy with my 4 door fridge. Never planned to have stainless doors but have found I love them. My only regret is that my space is limited so I had to purchase a smaller fridge. I sure hope this one last 20 plus years like the last one did!

My previous window air conditioner quit cooling my house. After 10 days of living with fans I decided I needed another window unit. I had owned Frigidaire appliances in my previous home so when I saw they made air conditioners I guessed at what size I needed and ordered this unit. I guessed correctly. My last Frigidaire window AC lasted 18 years. I™™m loyal to the brand because I™™ve had good experiences with all of my Frigidaire appliances. I™™m pleased with the performance of this one so far. It cools my 250 sq ft attic room on hot, humid days with ease and removes the humidity. It is a bit noisy, but not too bad with the fan on low speed. It comes with plenty of foam to seal the window. I had to add a piece of wood for it to sit on due to the design of my vinyl window. I also added styrofoam panels behind the accordion sides.

Seems I've always heard the Frigidaire brand name, and in a good light. Refrigerators by Frigidaire we're in my home growing up, and now I trust Frigidaire air conditioners. A friend helped me get a smaller unit (which I still use and guided me to buy this 8,000 BTU AC).I'm happy with my Frigidaire appliances.

My Review for 8,000 BTU Window Room Air Conditioner.This unit was delivered in good condition by UPS, Unboxing was very easy.Assembly was a slight challenge, I found that the instructions where a bit sketchy. However I realized that some minor disassembly was needed to secure the adjustable window panels, this was not properly illustrated in the directions. However I was able to figure out how to accomplish the disassembly and reassembly so to proceed with the installation. There was a minor second issue I encountered there are pre-drilled on the top of the unit one out of 4 was drilled to large for the provided screws to properly secure the window panel plastic frame, I had to go through my own hardware to find the right size screw No Big Deal For Me. All in All the installation went fairly well, I must say this unit is working well. There is one thing that I believe should be changed in the design of the unit, the Remote Control is the only way to change the settings of this unit aside from using your phone with a WIFI connection, I believe that having mechanical switching and direct input by the user is a less user friendly design. If someone looses the wireless control some consumers will have a problem. I Am Old School and am age 62 I am advance in computer building maintenance and repair, So for me these issues are no big deal. I do believe that having direct input via front panel switches is very important for many people. In my opinion' This is Something That Frigidaire should reconsider in future designs. I Hope That My Review helps your designers at Frigidaire.

This ac unit is perfect! I love the thermometer feature that is in the remote control. I have thus unit in a mobile home in a bedroom the moment I installed the unit my aunt mentioned that she could feel a temp change in the living room next to the bedroom this is installed in.
