We ordered this window unit directly from the Frigidaire website in April of 2024. It worked well for the air conditioning portion during the summer months (we live in Texas). However, when we used it for the heating capabilities it overheated and melted the outlet it was plugged into. Fortunately, the breaker blew it did not burn down my house. I had to pay an electrician to have the outlet replaced and filed a claim as the unit was still under the 1 year warranty (this happened in January). Frigidaire sent a repairman to my home who said the unit could not be repaired and would need to be replaced under the warranty. That was the last we heard from Frigidaire, even though I have made multiple phone called since then trying to get the unit replaced. It has been 2 weeks since the repairman came and I have been told the paperwork to replace the unit would be emailed to us, but nothing has come. If you are considering tis appliance and thought Frigidaire is a company you can trust, think again. I have an unheated room in my house and will again make yet another phone call tomorrow to inquire about the replacement.

The a/c- heater unit has surpassed my expectations. It is supposed to be for up to 550 square feet but does much more. I would definitely recommend it.

I purchased this unit to replace an older model in a storage/laundry building detached from the house. I've only had this unit for a short time and just had an opportunity to monitor it performance today. All features work as advertised. I especially like the eco mode. From past experiences, I have found Frigidaire appliances to be efficient, durable and reliable. And that's while I keep buying a Frigidaire.

Shipped via UPS in the manufacture packaging. Unfortunately, UPS was rough with my window air unit and so it has a dent. The unit arrived within 2 business days, which was great! Very easy to install! So far, unit is working well™¦even with the dent.

I bought an array of ac units to refresh my house. These machines are powerful, efficient and blend with the house design.Even when the AC is hybrid with heating the machine works superb.In addition the costumer service is very professional and always answered my questions in time manner. Very happy with Frigidaire

We put this in a room that gets very hot in the summer, but very cold in the winter. It cooled the room down nicely and we then blasted the heat function to see how that would do and it warmed up quickly! Will use the supplemental heat in the winter to get the chill out of the room.

Order the AC, receive confirmation for the order and then the order stayed in the process status for a few days. When I called customer service to make sure nothing happened to the order, they informed me my order is ready they just have to wait for a full shipping load for UPS to pick up. They were really nice on the phone, answered all my questions and gave me some more advice. Once UPS picked it up, I received it in 3 days since the second day was a Sunday.

So far the air conditioner is doing great but only had it a week so we will see as time goes on. We picked a Frigidaire because we have a smaller one and it is really quiet. Of course this one is louder because it™™s bigger but overall not to bad. The shipper (ups) was terrible. One side of the box was torn open and the other side was crushed in. Fortunately the air conditioner only had one small dent in it. Waiting to see how long it will last.

I have the smaller of this unit, too, and love it for a small bedroom over my garage. I'm using this larger unit for the other, bigger room over the garage and couldn't be happier with the outcome. (Those rooms are not well insulated.) The supplemental heat is perfect for cold mornings. And the AC itself is excellent, keeping the room cool from all the heat that rises in the late afternoon. I'm especially fond of the 'eco' mode, as it keeps the room cool without it becoming too cold. The unit (while heavy) was easy to install and I was cooling the room within minutes. It used to be tough to hang out in the rooms above the garage in the peak of heat in summer and cold in winter but now we can use them all year comfortably!

This unit was easy enough to install and start using. The heat is awesome and warms my area quickly. The air is awesome. It cools real quick and I have had some warm days. I live in a high humidity area. I would recommend this unit . I really like the timer .

This unit is amazing. I was super excited about this unit and it did not disappoint. This unit was easy to install and I was able to do it without my husband. Supplemental heat feature was a plus as it came in handy these last few days as the weather has cooled down. Having the remote will make it easy to control and switch over without having to always walk over to the unit. I would definitely recommend.

We received this unit and it has been added value to our lives since we opened the box. We were up and running quickly as the unit was super easy to install. The unit cooled down the area quickly and was very quiet. Being able to have the additional heat feature came in handy these past couple of days when we had a cold front. We also loved the fact that the unit helps to reduce dust in the air which is a huge benefit. You definitely can™™t go wrong with this unit.

This 12,000 BTU Window unit with supplemental heat is a great addition to my home. It works great and is very easy to use. I was able to install it myself with little issues. The supplemental heat is a great feature to have as well. I highly recommend
