Same Issue in Two Years

Less than a year owning this over, it stopped heating. The fans and electronics made it see like it was, but it did not get hot. It was still under warranty the first time, and they fixed it. Less than a year after the repair, I am having the same issue.

We just installed this item. Is there really no temperature readout to indicate the actual oven temperature??? I™€™ve never imagined there would be such a thing. I deeply regret being so naive that I just assumed this would be a standard feature.

The only positive thing to mention is it looks nice. It is so loud it is ridiculous - I literally hate it. There is nothing that shows you what temperature it is at, the knobs move if the wind blows on them and the timer is worthless. Just redid my kitchen with this entire line and I hate this oven so much I already want to replace it. Waste of hard-earned money

My mother's top of the line oven turns out to not be able to take a full size sheet pan. Coming from an under-stove oven which was gigantic, I was worrying that this built in with it's convection fans would also have sacrificed the space to accept a standard pan size. Not true! It does have room for full size sheet pans! I also love the pull out rack on rails. I'm already dreaming of Thanksgiving dinner and Sunday roasts.It took us a long time to work out the initial burn-out, the smell lasted a long time. My advice is to do a much more thorough job of washing it out with soap and water. Once I had done that, the smell was almost completely gone.

We recently remodeled our kitchen and decided after a lot of research to use all Frigidaire appliances. The oven has a great look, is smudge/fingerprint proof. The only reason I gave a 4 star is because the fan is so loud. I did have the company I purchased it from come out and they took a recording of the noise to take back to their service guys. I have not heard back from them yet if this is normal.

Expected better from "Professional Series"

All of the kitchen appliances in our new house are the Professional Series appliances. They appear to be good products for the most part, but the electric wall oven can't keep correct time. We have had a service technician out three times changing parts and the clock on the oven continues to lose 2 minutes every 24 hours. It is very disappointing to have an expensive appliance that doesn't work properly and seems as though it can't be repaired. We expected better quality.

Horrible Appliance and Worse Customer Service

A year and a half ago, we purchased all new Frigidaire Professional appliances (fridge, wall oven, wall microwave, hood, range, and dishwasher). We spent a significant amount of money thinking we were getting high quality appliances. We have been using the appliances for a few months now and we are SO disappointed. A few months ago, the fridge completely stopped making ice in the bottom freezer. The wall oven initially started showing different error codes, and then stopped working altogether. One of the dividers inside of the dishwashers snapped and broke during a cycle. I am absolutely baffled that all of our appliances are having issues 1.5 years after the purchase date. They have not even been used a full year yet! I am truly appalled at Frigidaire™€™s customer service. For the past 6 months, I have tried to call Frigidaire™€™s customer service number. Every single time, no matter the time of day, I received a message indicating the call volume was high and that they could not take my call. This went on for MONTHS. I still to this date cannot get in contact with anyone on the phone. A few weeks ago, I learned you could chat with a rep on the website. I immediately chatted with someone and explained my concerns. I requested that someone come fix the oven at no charge, and briefly addressed my other issues. The rep was incredibly rude to me, did not care about my issues at all, and adamantly advised it was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do. I received no help at all. It is so upsetting to have spent thousands of dollars on appliances when they are not working. They have not even been used a full year. Steer clear if you are able.

We bought the higher end "Professional" line expecting it to be better quality. Not even 2 years later and like others have said we got error message F45 for the cooling fan. Frigidaire won't fix it so now we have to pay to replace the fan just to be able to use our oven. Horrible customer service. Will purchase another brand next time around.

Replaced a 16 year old Frigidaire Pro Wall Oven

The new "Pro" is not as good as the old "Pro". The fan motors are loud and noisy - pre-heat is slow and you have no idea what temp the oven is on other than just trusting the settings. So far the cooking is okay but bought it mainly to match the microwave/oven that is above it on the wall. In reading some of the complaints these same issues have been around for years and Frigidaire has done nothing to resolve them. If I had it to do over again I would have gone with another brand.

Average to slightly above average oven. It takes a while to preheat and the temperature dial covers up the temperature readings when you rotate it to select a temperature. Attractive looking and easy to clean.

My oven is barely 2 years old and the mechanism that controls the temperature has been replaced. The oven was operating 25 decrees cooler than the set temperature.The appliance tech had to make two visits to replace parts and get it working again. I DO NOT recommend Frigidare/Electrolux appliances. DO NOT BUY. They are unreliable and cheaply made. You never know what the oven temperature is since there is not temperature display. I had to buy an oven thermometer to discover the temperature disparity. It also takes 20 minutes to preheat!

I wish I have read the reviews before I purchased this model. I have had this oven for a couple of months now, it replaced a 21 year old Kirchen aide but I wanted to match my Frig, which I adore, so far, but the oven does not meet my expectations. It is noisy, except for the timer, which is very quiet. When using the timer, the oven does not turn off automatically, so I have to use another timer, if I am in a different room to know when time is up. I have never had an oven that works that way. They all have turned off when the timer goes off. I totally missed that feature in reading about the oven. Cleaning is difficult. I am very careful about keeping it clean, I do use the oven a lot, but like a clean oven. The installer and a repairman suggested do not use the self-cleaning feature because it shortened the life of the product because of the heat. Today I had a spill and tried to clean the floor of the over. I felt like the old witch from Hansel and Gretel trying to reach into the back of the oven. My arms will not reach that far. The very first wall oven I had was also a Frigidaire, that was in 1963, and there was a wonderful button on the side that allowed the door to lay straight down, which made it easy to reach into the back of the oven. That was before self-cleaning. I did not check all this out before I purchased this and because of the expense of purchasing, then the couple of hundred dollars for installation I did not want to spend more on having it taken out for a different model.

Replaced 20 year old oven. Never owned a convection oven until now, and will not go back to non-convention. Food taste so much better. The turkey cooked beautifully and ever so juicy. Chicken tenders and tots have same texture that you get from fast food restaurants. Love my new oven!

Oven looks great on the outside. It's hard to set the temperature cause you have to bend down to set the temperature. You don't know the actual temperature because there is no display. You can barely hear the timer. Customer service is terrible!!!!!! Had to get a replacement oven only after 6 months because the self clean feature warped the fan vent/blade then would make a very loud rattle. The replacement comes by the way of a rebate and they will not cover the tax or installation of the new oven. They would not replace the oven because they said they didn't have any in stock. So, the replacement oven ended up costing us over $600. Not happy!!!'

Fj45 error reported on 10/27, still not working next appointment is in a week. fan, circuit board, wire harness replaced. still broken. Oven will be broken for 85 days at that point and will need more parts and will take another two weeks. this oven is only 10 months old and has been broken for 3 consecutive months. DO NOT BUY.

Extremely Disappointed

Ridiculous Product 11/15/2021

This oven came with our new construction home and we are VERY disappointed! We have to add extra cooking time to allow for any baking we do, since almost everytime we turn on the oven we receive the F45 err message. We have to turn the oven off, let it rest and turn it back on to get it to work. I have been on the customer service line for 1 hour and 12 minutes so far and have not spoken to anyone. It is also very difficult to see what the temp is on the knobs.

I love the look of this oven and it functions well. It™€™s a little noisy with the fan cycling off and on during baking. Also the preheat indicator light is a little small and hard to see. Overall I™€™m happy with the oven.

very noisey fan motor
