I hope I got a lemon!

Since day 1 the turntable didn't work unless I manually moved the plate until it "caught." I had a company come out and repair it/replace the turntable motor (there is no option to turn on/off turntable as you may have on other microwaves). A month after the repair, the turntable stopped working again. I have another repair scheduled in the following days. This definitely tries our patience, since the beginning of the invention of the microwave 40 years ago, this hasn't been an issue for us, we're not used to watching the microwave to see if it's working as it should...and that leaves for a lot of crazy hot spots mixed with frozen spots. Speaking of atypical heat patterns, don't get this if you use microwave popcorn. It will either produce only a half popped bag or completey burned half popped bag. This is the case whether or not you use the popcorn setting or sit there for 3 minutes and listen to it and watch it manually to stop. I bought a garage sale microwave that we keep in the garage for popcorn. It works great, but doesn't match the rest of my kitchen or I'd put the Frigidaire out in the garage and use this 15 year old generic one for all my nuker needs. The convection part of it is not very user friendly, either and doesn't preheat above 350. If you need to add more time or change the time, you need to stop the cooking and start the set-up all over again. As far as the eaveness of the final product, it is inconsistent at best. Hot spots and frozen spots as well. Overall the system needs an overhaul!

Loved it until it died. Bought it for my office in Feb. 2020, so most of 2020 it wasn't used since the office was closed. Now it doesn't work at all. It turns off after running for 30-45 seconds, the tray inside stopped rotating. It was good for the 2 years it worked but now doesn't work at all. Which is crazy at my home I have had the same microwave for 8 years paid $400 and it is working perfectly.

This was a great machine for the very short period it lasted. I see now why people generally say to avoid Frigidaire. For a $2000 microwave its absurd to die only after 3 months. I was buyign this just to match the fridge but now I'll have to have mis matched appliances to avoid the unreliability of Frigidaire.

Great Combo Microwave

Sparks in Microwave from Turntable

After less than 14 months of use the microwave has sparks coming from the black turntable. The wheels show burn marks, and it has rubbed a ring around the bottom of the microwave. The turntable was installed properly. I am guessing the wheels locked up during operation but wore into the metal bottom of microwave. Don't bother calling 800-374-4432 because it states "Due to high call volume they cannot take your call now, and hangs up on you". Tried multiple times. This is product is unsafe, and I am going to open up ticket with CONSUMER PRODUCT SAFETY COMMISSION. When you search on their site one has already caught on fire.

I have owned this microwave for just over 2 years. The wheels on the rotating plate are now sparking and catching fire. This is happening within 30 seconds so it™€™s not because I™€™m using the microwave for an extended period of time. It happened twice while steaming a bag of vegetables. And don™€™t get me started on the fact that I™€™ve already had to have the entire circuit board replaced on my oven, my fridge has made a loud rumbling sound since the day they bought it and no matter how many service calls, we have had it™€™s never been fixed. And since it™€™s been two years, nothing has a warranty. I would think appliances this expensive would be better quality than this.

Barely a microwave - As an oven it's better?

We use this primarily as a microwave, because we have the oven installed in the wall below it.first time popcorn was great. has not worked well since then, and it has been six months. Never pops mor than half a bag at three minutes, then it starts burning it. Popcorn button is worse. As a microwave, it does work, but it's not that strong. many other reviewers have the same issue with the microwave. As a convection oven, we have not used it much because it is easier access to our regular oven below it.

Was Great Until It Wasn't

We previously had the "above the stove" style Professional Series microwave but it wouldn't fit into our new kitchen design so we purchased the cabinet mount model. It was quite a bit more expensive but we wanted it to all match the rest of our appliances.For the first 2 months we liked it much more than the above the stove unit because the convection oven heated up faster and more evenly. Third month of use the turntable stopped and started randomly. Then the keypad refused to do what we chose. Now the microwave and the heating elements have stopped heating. The cooling fan runs so we know we have power. It is still under warranty. I called Frigidaire tech support and was told by the auto-attendant that it would be an hour wait. So I used the service chat which got quick results. They gave me the number of our local authorized field service shop. I called them and they said they no longer accept work from Frigidaire due to poor communications. I chatted with Frigidaire again. They gave me another service shop to try. That company never returned my calls to set up a time, (the date was already picked by Frigidaire).I chatted again and got a third authorized service shop suggestion from Frigidaire. This one is officially outside of the allowed area so now we don't know if Frigidaire will honor their warranty. We're still waiting on confirmation. We've been without our $1,800 microwave for three weeks now trying to get it serviced. I'd rather just have a new one.

Convection Microwave

Love this microwave. It has so many options other than just reheating! On the convection setting it cooks just as well as an oven, so it's like having a double oven. Well worth the money for all the different functions and I love the look of it compared to a regular over range or countertop microwave. It's also huge, so you can fit extra tall cups and even a 9x13 pan inside.

I recieved my microwave on September 12th had it installed on September 25th and it is already messed up. Has no sound and is giving a code when you open the door E-00. When you hit the start button it will not do anything. We have unplugged it and nothing. So i call Frigidaire and what a joke. It took me almost 2 hours to get in touch with soneone and now im waiting for some random repair person to come out whenever they decide to show up im sure to tell me they need to order parts for this expensive microwave that is new and im sure the parts will be on back order. The microwave i replace was 18 years old and never failed me. Im very disappointed

We have been huge fans of the Frigidaire Professional line for years. So when we heard they were updating the line in 2021 we placed an order in November of 2021. However, there was a backorder wait list of 5-6 months. We decided to wait for them, We placed the order and they arrived in April of 2022. We have been having issues with the microwave plate turning since day one but it mostly worked. It finally stopped completely so we informed the store and sent pictures. The store gave us Frigidaire's Customer Services Number and we explained everything to them Directly. They said that it was no longer in warranty. We were confused by this because we only had the product for 7 months and we have a year warranty. The rep told us that the warranty began the day we ordered it (NOV 2021) and not the day we received it (APRIL of 2022) So the Warranty Expired 20 days ago. This is horrible practice. Not ONLY did we have to wait 1/2 a year to receive them but we lost 1/2 a year of our warranty as well??? Please note we also purchased the oven, dishwasher (Which does not dry), stove top, fridge (That has random vibrating and shaking fits that you need to reset the fridge to stop) and freezer all professional line. We spent a lot of time and money into this brand and now when we come to them for what seems to be a simple fix that should be under warranty. They say we are NOT under warranty because they took up 1/2 of our year warranty in backorder wait time. HORRIBLE PRACTICE. I am glad it is a simple fix I can take care of myself. I would not recommend this company moving forward and nor will I be a customer in the future!!

I am calling on Frigidaire to recall or replace this model! There is an obvious design flaw that many customers have experienced where this model just dies after 2 years!This microwave was installed in a new build and worked great for 2 years, then it died. We had the outlet tested and even had the breaker replaced to make sure the dedicated circuit was working properly. Just like many others have experienced, this model dies after 2 years and requires costly repairs. Of course, you will be out of the warranty period after 2 years and Frigidaire will tell you they are 'limited' in what they can do. Truth is, they can recall or replace these microwaves and I am calling on Frigidaire to do just that!

We never liked the right-opening door w/ the dangerous, sharp plastic latch hooks sticking out that we constantly got hurt on. Plus, w/ our wall on the right , it was not handy to have the door swinging to the left either. Problem solved w/ the drop down door model!
