I have a GE stove and the light went out in the oven the model number is JBS60RK4SS is this the bulb to replace?

The original equipment light bulb is a 60 Watt Frosted bulb. The suggested replacement is only 40 Watts and a clear bulb. Two problems with the replacement: (1) the 40 watt does not light up the refrigerator as brightly (dim light when it gets to the bottom shelf. (2) the clear bulb - the filament strikes you right in the eye when you open the door leaving the "flash bulb" effect.
If the original was 60 watts why change it??? so I did some internet searching and found the solution: an equivalent 60 watt LED frosted A15 bulb suitable for damp locations (and it consumes less energy too!).

Burned out as soon as I installed it. GE is sending an expedited replacemtn. Hope this one works.

I ordered a 4 pack of these from Amazon. I immediately installed one of these but it only lasted 3 days. I've already had to put in another one. I'm going to see if this one will last longer than a week before I come back to refresh my review. Thank you.

So, after 21 (TWENTY-ONE) years I will be replacing my light bulb. I could never have imagined it would last this long and I will not hesitate to buy the same for a replacement. My refrigerator has also been running this whole time without issue.

The package said for all appliances, including ovens, which is what I needed for. It lasted less than a month in our wall mounted oven. We'll see how it's package mate does.
