In the unlikely event that something does go wrong we ship a replacement directly to you. (Same day ship applies to calls received M-F prior to 2 PM ET.)
Easy customization of GUI, background, and logos
Philips televisions make promoting your brand easier than ever with customization options that allow you to put your brand front and center. Add a startup logo and GUI page logo of your choice so the guest sees your brand. Select the brand-appropriate color scheme for the Graphical User Interface (GUI) from our built in list of color skins. You can even add your own background image to the GUI to further identify your brand or property.
Philips Smart Gateway compatible
This model is compatible with the Philips Smart Gateway (PSG). The PSG is a management device that allows remote programming and maintenence of your televisions, so you never have to enter the room to make changes again! With a PSG you can update and adapt channel maps, change TV settings, and keep television software up to date, saving substantially on the cost of room visits. The PSG also allows real time data updates for Adobe Flash Lite applets running on select Philips commercial televisions.
Philips Next-generation Architecture (PNA)
PNA is a revolutionary way for your in-room entertainment to evolve. Philips televisions are designed with a modular hardware update path so they can easily be upgraded to offer additional features as your needs change. Buy a non-Flash® capable television now and update it to offer Flash® Lite® applet capability later without having to bear the full cost of new televisions. Or add b-LAN™ two-way communication for additional customization and personalization options. Philips is also working with a variety of content providers to design additional modules that may offer enhanced benefits.
SmartCP delivers affordable connectivity for the guest
Our built-in autosensing connectivity panel includes HDMI and VGA (with 3.5mm audio in), as well as USB, CVBS and Audio L/R. Guests can also plug their USB memory sticks right into the set to play back music or photos (.mp3 or .jpg files).
SmartInstall allows easy installation, cloning, and setup
Philips SmartInstall an easy to use installation process. SmartInstall consists of a simple to use PC program that allows all features to be configured and all channels to be mapped in a fraction of the time it takes to do so on an actual television with a remote. A guided installation wizard is built into the television, so even those without a PC get a better and faster install. And with the addition of the Philips Smart Gateway, the televisions can even automatically clone all settings when plugged in.
SmartPower for the best picture and ultra low power use
SmartPower allows the backlight intensity to be varied based on real time picture measures and actual room lighting conditions to deliver the best possible picture at the lowest possible energy consumption.
SmartStand for security and elegance
Philips unique SmartStand is a complete commercial solution, offering 180 degree swivel that can be limited in either or both directions to 30, 60, or 90 degrees. The stand includes a securable mounting plate that can be affixed either using security screws or non-drill adhesive. In addition, all security hardware for drill and non-drill mounting is included on select models (check with your Philips representative for specific models).
Sound and Vision Choice
Philips Sound and Vision Choice allows the guest to mix and match the latest audio and video sources. Using our SmartWindow and Smart Audio Select features, guests can watch one source while listening to the audio from another source, for example watching TV while listening to their iPod. Guests can also split the screen to combine an HDMI signal with any other non HDMI source. Philips televisions allow maximum flexibility with the latest game and personal audio/video sources as well as the latest generation of single cable connectivity panels.
ThemeTV simplifies channel selection
Hotel guests often have difficulty locating desirable programs since they are unfamiliar with the channel lineup. Traditional Electronic Program Guides (EPGs) are little help as the guest has to scroll through multiple pages to find channels. In addition, traditional EPGs require hotels to pay fees for channel information on a per room basis. Philips is proud to introduce a better program-location tool with ThemeTV. Guests simply filter by type of channel, for example "Sports" and instantly see and tune to any Sports channel available. Guests are seconds away from desirable content.
