ThemeTV simplifies channel selection
Hospital patients often have difficulty locating desirable programs since they are unfamiliar with the channel lineup. Traditional Electronic Program Guides (EPGs) are little help as the patient has to scroll through multiple pages to find channels. In addition, EPGs require hospitals to pay fees for channel information on a per room basis. Philips is proud to introduce a better program-location tool with ThemeTV. Patients simply filter by type of channel, for example "Sports" and instantly see and tune to any Sports channel available. Patients are seconds away from desirable content.
TigrNet™ enabled
TigrNet™ software provides a user interface and enhanced functionality to the patient television. TigrNet™ can be used with a variety of products including TIGR education on-demand and upgraded services for subscription billing. TigrNet™ provides access to The Internet, e-mail, hospital services, patient education, surveys, television, games and movies. TigrNet™ allows monitoring from a central location using remote management software.
