This dryer is absolutely awesome cutting my drying time almost in half compared to the electric one we have been using for several years. The cost to operate is significantly lower than the electric one recently used. Very efficient machine. Wish I had up graded to the Speed Queen years earlier.

Very happy and excited with my washer & dryer best purchase. Works perfectly, I've had it for about 2 years only concern is my dryer has started making a weird noise, not many people that know how to fix speed queens I'm hoping to have it fixed soon, I've had the repair guy out 2 times now. Overall best decision to buy speed queens.

I love my new washer and dryer. Both are quiet and take less time to wash and dry our clothes. Our clothes are clean. Would tell anyone looking for a washer or dryer that Speed Queen is the best there is.

I just bought a new speed queen in March. The first one arrived, I used it one time, and the motherboard malfunctioned. I had a repairman come and he said it needed a new board. I said I did not buy a new dryer to have it repaired already and requested another dryer. The seller cooperated and sent me a new one. This one works perfectly and would not purchase any other brand. I have recommended speed queen to others.

Quality made dryer. Replaced a Maytag washer and dryer with Speedqueen and they both work great so far. The dryer is easy to use and my wife loves the steam feature. Have run several loads of clothes with no problems. Very pleased.

I purchased this expensive speed queen dryer because they brag about how long it should last. After 3 and 1/2 months the appliance buzzer and the dryer won't shut off unless I pull the plug. Only cold air comes out also. I asked that it be replaced, but was told I could only have it fixed. I am sorely disappointed. I have to wait until a service person can come with ordered parts. Please help!!!

After replacing our previous dryer TWICE, I decided to just go straight for (what I thought was) the best this time around. Unfortunately, we must have received a lemon. The dryer didn't dry properly from the beginning. I contacted the store after the first week and they made suggestions. Running a busy household, I didn't have time to fuss with it anymore so I just kept running every load twice. The heat finally stopped at 13 months. It took about 10 days to get a repair person and then another 2 weeks for the part. You'd think it would be good as new, but here we are about a month later and I find my clothes are not completely dry again on 1 cycle. Major disappointment.

I have had my new SQ dryer just about a month now and so far it's been very good. I do miss the easy load door I had on my old LG dryer. Since I am tall it was very nice to open it top to bottom for loading and side-to-side when unloading. But except for that feature I am very satisfied and hoping this dryer outlasts all my previous ones which numbers 4, all different brands but none were SQ.

While your reputation was presented as this will be the last washer and dryer you will need, 8 months of ownership in we have had to have the authorized service provider come out 3 times already. The dryer is leaving black marks on our light clothes. The device tech has replaced multiple parts, I have sent photos and we still have not jumped through enough hoops with your company to get issue resolved. Last service rep I spoke to was the least helpful, but he did hold your company line very tightly on escalating the issue so we can move forward. Suprised at the lack of response, more things we need to prove as if we are lying.

This has to be the worst dryer I have ever had. One small load of drying can take hours. After spending over $2,200 for the set, quite a disappointment. While you might have added these efficiency mandates to the dryer, I will pay triple for the electric to keep this going for 3-4 hours to dry a set of sheets. I end of hanging clothes after being in the dryer and never drying.

This Speed Queen dries our clothes very well, as I expected. The Cons to this machine are that it does not alert me when the cycle is finished. The second Con is that I can't set the time to dry for the amount of time I want, only the 30 or 60 minute predetermined times on the machine. I had a couple of items that just needed a few more minutes to dry, I wanted to wear them right away. I had to stand by the machine and check on them every few minutes. I don't like these two features which is why I can't give the machine an overall 5 star rating.

Within the first 20 days in our home this new dryer stopped heating, would not turn off and had lights blinking accompanied by a high pitched squeal. Had to unplug it to get it to stop. Called for service and the first technician was able to run the dryer normally. After very few loads the dryer failed again. Had to start the repair process over again. Second technician said the circuit board failed. Today we are still waiting for the repair.

I had repaired our old dryer so many times and so finally decided to get a new one. A friend had mentioned their Speed Queen and how well it worked to them. We were on our way to a big box hardware store to wander the aisles when a neighbor said to try a local family furniture store. So, we did. The salesperson showed us their selection - exclusively Speed Queen washers and dryers, pointed out the differences and left us to discuss. We chose a mid-range model, paid, drove around to their loading dock and put it in the bed of our truck. Got it home and installed in no time.
My wife has been talking about it ever since. She loves the features, the quality, the way it gets clothes dry, the light in the tub, the lint trap and how easy it is to clean. Our daughter has used it for her clothes and commented on how easy it is to use. I have used it to refresh some shirts with the steam kit.
Basically, one month in and we are very pleased with our purchase and look forward to many years of quality service from our new dryer!

Since I bought a commercial grade washing machine, I wasn't expecting to have any issues with it considering I'm only one person that uses it and not an entire family. But, whenever I reopen the lid after it's started to add another item it would throw an error code and stop working. Apparently this is a known problem with these new machines. It's definitely a flaw. I try to not reposition now and not chance a problem.

Love the stainless steel. Few adjustments I need to learn. Stopping dryer when I interrupt the cycle. It doesn't like to be changed mid cycle. Doesn't always dry in first attempt.

Seems good so far. The auto dry doesn't seem to work too well. Only a month old. Maybe some what of a learning curve. At least it didn't wreck clothes like the Speed Queen washer we bought at the same time.

We've had our dryer for about a month now, and it has been great! It works well and our electric bill has not changed. The machine is well built and easy operation. It is pricey but worth it if I get 20 years out of it. When my Maytag washer quits we'll get the matching washer.
