I purchased this vacuum for the kitchen and entryway where our cats™™ litter boxes are. It works great for vacuuming up kitty litter and dirt/sand in the entryway, but it is too strong to vacuum the rugs and mats that aren™™t heavy or are too plush. It sucks onto them and pulls them up, even on the lowest setting. I use a separate stick vacuum for those.

I am happy with the vacuum cleaner. The weight is comfortable and the swivel head is very nice. It could use a little more power but it still works satisfactory. A hose attachment would be a nice addition for getting into tight places. The assembly instructions could be a little more specific.

Over all this is a good vacuum. It has good suction and picks up fine dirt very well but does not pick up small objects such as a peanut. The turbo mode is a great feature but uses battery very quickly. The dirt bin is easy to dump and clean. Filter is easy to clean. Charger is easy to use but sits on the floor which I don't care for.

This is my first battery/stick vacuum and I™™m surprised at how well it works. It™™s light weight, very quiet and easy to use. I bought it for my barbershop and it does very well at picking up all the smaller cut hairs on multi-surfaces.

The vacuum is very convenient to use and it™™s my first cordless vacuum. The dirt cups is a little difficult to reinstall after emptying, but that should get easier with practice. So far the vacuum works great for quick cleanups. I don™™t think it is a substitute for a full size vacuum because of the limited size of the dirt cups.

The vacuum is easy to assemble and rather lightweight. A small brush attachment was included but nowhere to store it. The charging station is easy to set up and, with the long power cord, east to store in a closet out of the way. It's a little difficult to push the vacuum on carpeting--a motorized vacuum head (with turning wheels) would be an improvement. It would be GREAT if the instructions included words; it's all pictures - assumes buyer can figure all of it out. No tips for easy usage, for opening/closing the dust collector, for using the roller cleaner, etc.

Beast of a Machine

Presently I™™m giving this vacuum a one-star rating because the suction is so powerful it eats my 8™™x10™™ throw rugs. I literally cannot vacuum them because the second that bristle-head makes contact with an unsecured rug, the rug is sucked into the throat of the machine and ground to pieces, all the while choking itself with a maddening cacophony of grinding, and whining and smoke. The only way to save the hungry monster from choking to death is to turn off the power, rip the rug from its bowels and make sure spot rugs have no place in my floor cleaning routine. Wow, wouldn™™t it have been nice had the brilliant engineers who designed this beast added to the bristle-head an elevation feature that could raise the head higher off the floor for more delicate jobs. Also, there was no brush attachment included and apparently I can™™t seem to purchase one separately. It™™s strange to say that you™™re upset with a product because it works too good. But that™™s what I™™m saying. This sucker is so powerful it™™ll suck the shellac from your hardwood floors. It™™s suck the soul from every fiber of your shag and leave it screaming in agony. That™™s been my experience anyway.

This is our third Electrolux product in 40 years! They last forever and the quality cannot be matched. Our vacuums from the 1980s and the 1990s both still work very well. But they are cumbersome when cleaning the stairs or little jobs. Love the portability of this new vacuum! It is so easy to use and keep clean. Wouldn™™t even mind if it had to be plugged in like the older canister models. Will continue to recommend this product to everyone and will stay with this brand as long as possible.

I was surprised how light it is. Since there's not much weight against the carpet, I didn't think it would pick up much dirt. I realized I was wrong when I checked how much dirt accumulated in the dust container. The suction power is strong enough to pick up grains of rice too!

STEER CLEAR!!!!! We just ordered this and it arrived without a functioning battery. After an hour talking to robots on the help chat they told me they didn't have any batteries in stock, rendering the machine completely useless. Had to spend another 30 mins of my time calling to get a return sorted out. Just absolutely not worth it, save your time and don't bother.

We received the Ultimate 700 vacuum last week and easily assembled it. The instructions were easy to follow. I tried it out after charging it and it worked out great. I didn't use it too much since I had to leave. The next day, my wife tried it out and she has not let go since then. It is her new "toy". She loves the way it cleans, the weight, and easiness of handling it. She uses it every day and no longer use our older power cord. She is looking forward to continuing using it. It has changed her vacuuming perspective. Vacuuming is no longer considered a chore but a fun activity she looks forward doing every day. It works great on both carpets and tile floors. The only "minor" complaint is that she wishes the battery lasted longer since we have a large home but understand that the charge lasting time is similar to most cordless vacuum cleaners.
