I bought a washer and a dryer. The site said I will have it delivered by September 19th. On the 18th the delivery company texted and said for me to reschedule my delivery so I called them RXO to wait an hour to be told that they could not deliver on October 2nd. So I canceled with them and then called this LG company to wait an hour to be hung up on and then another hour to be told I might be getting my money back and if I do it will take at least 14days. We will see if I get reimbursed.

The dryer works well. Its my 2nd LG dryer and this one gets clothes dried quickly. Its perhaps more sophisticated than I need but Im starting to use more functions. Wish the printing on the controls were black vs grey so it would be easier to read in low light. Had an issue so called customer service and I was connected to a knowledge person quickly who helped resolve it.

Terrible Experience So Far

We have scheduled delivery twice and both times the delivery company never shows up with the washer and dryer. I have reached out to LG and the delivery company. LG hasnt responded and the soonest the delivery company will attempt another delivery is 2 weeks from now. We will be without a washer and dryer for a month by then and who knows if it will actually even be delivered then. Im pretty disappointed and frustrated. I dont think I would order from LG again simply because the delivery company they work with is so unreliable.

Stopped working after 1 1/2 years .

I bought the dryer in January of 2023. It stopped working in Sept 2024. Still have warranty through Costco. They sent repairmen who says 3 parts needed to be ordered. Took more than a week for parts to come. They replaced the parts and it still doesnt work. Now have to wait fur more parts to be ordered. Its been 3 weeks without a working dryer.

I bought this less than a month ago. So far its been great just love the big drum so I can dry comforters and large loads. Although initially when I was setting up the WIFI connection it didnt connect but after a few days I re-tried it and both my washer and dryer are connected to my WIFI. I find my clothes get done quicker than my old one.

Dryer and Washer communicate by wifi

Not your typical dryer. If paired with the appropriate LG washer the washer will recommend the dryer setting directly to the dryer via WiFi. The dryer can be controlled manually or by theThinQ app on a smart phone. You can make custom drying cycles to fit your need. The app will tell you if any of vents need cleaning or if the lint filter needs washing. The app keeps track of your usage and power consumption. The dryer is basically a dryer that can be controlled intelligently iby the app or from the washer. If you are old school there is an owners document. For the tech savvy generation the smartphone app will be your choice on managing the dryer. The dryer has been operational about a month there is a little learning curve on getting manual settings to perform like the old dryer sine the old one was ancient.

No Dry Without A Tumble

This is a pretty good dryer for the price especially if you get it on sale as we did from the HD. The moisture sensor is only fair and the permanent press cycle again is only fair. But it would have been better if it had a dry with no tumble setting or I cant find it if it does. We have been a little leery of LG appliances as we got burned on the early $3000 32 cubic refrigerator. But so far this dryer has performed well and I would recommend it if purchased on sale.

I have had this dryer for over a year bought it as a set with the Washer. It has performed flawlessly. Clothes are dry and with all the settings we are able to get wrinkle free clothes. Both the washer and dryer are great for visually impaired users. One can control both using the Thinq app. Placing bump dots on the icons on the dryer or washing machine works well also. Regarding the dryer I especially like how the door can drop down for easy loading of the dryer.

Ive run about 10 loads through this dryer. Theres one thing I really like. That being the WiFi. It keeps track of everything. Tells you when your cloths are dry. Gives you breakdown on electrical use. Tells you when to clean the filter. Light comes on after the load is done. So much more. What I dont like. The door its loud. Sounds terrible when you open and close it. Sounds cheap. Cloths are not always dry when normal cycle is used. Not wet not dry warm not hot. This could be an energy saving thing. Ill need to figure that one out. Over all I like it. Just dont love it

We bought this Dryer with the washer and so far we are very happy with it. The Wifi connection took a little longer to get set but it is a nice feature

Large Capacity-Low energy- Less water- Cycles

I purchased a set that included a Large L G Washer with the Impeller I could not understand how it could really clean the clothes being that it moves the clothes so much less than a machine that has an agitator but was I wrong the fact that the fabric cleans by its interaction with the other items is remarkable You can fill the drum and it will settle down to a nice size load It definitely uses less energy and water than my last front load I could not be happier than I am with this washing machine

Purchased at the end of December and received in mid-January. The first dryer delivered seemed to have issues with the sensor and wasnt completely drying clothes. We reported the issue within 48 hours of delivery to Home Depot and got on the list for a replacement. Weve had that new replacement for about 1 week and have not experienced any issues so far. Dryer is working well and the app is easy to use allowing you to download different cycle settings as needed. Overall pleased with our purchase.

Purchased my dryer less than one year ago and have had two technicians come to assess an irritating rattle noise. The first technician said it was common for this particular dryer and when it gets hot things rattle. He also thought it could be a level issue he shoved a napkin under one side and called it good. Still the rattle continued. The second technician took the machine apart and could not find the source of the noise. Now we just live with the constant irritating rattle. I would not recommend this dryer to anyone.
