Really nice dishwasher. I would never buy anything else if at all possible. Pump stopped working at 6 years old which was a little early in my opinion. Unfortunately pumps arent under warranty at 6 years. Time to buy my next LG stainless steel dishwasher

I brought this dishwasher on 1/2019. It runs without issue only for 1-2 years. It begins peeping during cycle and such cycle cant be completed or it just stop by itself with water at bottom. Only 1 out of 5 runs can complete without such issue. Called LG support a few times they have no idea what the issue is. My last Whirlpool dishwasher lasted at least 10 years.

Bought all matching black stainless Lg appliances. Microwave and stove have been good. Refrigerator had the motor replaced once and the freezer decided to defrost every once and awhile and have had to throw stuff away. The worst one has been this dishwasher. The top and bottom rack have been rusting to pieces and now have to decide if I want to spend 300-400 to replace both or have to buy a whole new dishwasher. There is a whole chunk missing and the pieces to hold the dishes are falling off. Ive cut myself on one too. Its rusting everywhere. Dont waste your money on this dishwasher.

Good at first motor died in 2.5 years

At first this worked very well and was very quiet. After a year it started running louder. After 2.5 years it stopped draining and the motor had gone bad. Luckily the part is warrantied for 10 years however we have to pay for the labor. Dealing with LG customer service was a royal pain and took over and hour on the phone to get my part ordered. Hopefully with the new motor it will run like new again but this shouldnt happen to a 2.5 year old dishwasher.

Great Dishwasher vs Bad 10 Year Motor

When I first purchased this dishwasher I was overjoyed with the looks and performance. It does an excellent job and is pretty quiet. HOWEVER the 10 Year Warranty Inverter Direct Drive Motor pump has gone bad TWICE in less than 6 years. LG replaced the first one and within 2 Years it went bad again. LG will replace the pump/motor part but will charge $300 for labor. takes 30-60min to repair Great dishwasher when its working.

Product lasted 5 and a half years and main control board went bad. LG must know because repair warehouse have plenty of the boards in stock. I contacted LG and got a standard answer that my product was out of warranty. So I replaced it with a different brand.

Bought this four years ago and has only needed one recent repair which LG handled quickly and fairly affordable. The dishwasher is quiet and cleans great. One feature I like is how easily the filter can be cleaned out keeping the dishes cleaner.

This dishwasher stopped working and my refund from LG was never sent to me. I have been on the phone for over 15+ hours waiting to get my refund check and it never arrived. Navigating the returns process was made to be like a maze and strange AI sounding voices assured me that my check was in the way. I am still trying to get the refund for this purchase and went through all the proper channels and have emails stating the refund was approved. Nick in returns had me cut the label in half affix it paper and send that as a photo. I have done everything needed to show this item was not working correctly and the refund never arrived.

The machine worked well for the first few months but now shuts down randomly during any cycle. Also at times it will not start it goes into the delay start countdown I have to open re-power close then restart multiple times until the brains decide to run. At times the whole panel flashes like its having a seizure

When I bought my condo the dishwasher was here. I have found it far too complicated. When it was working it did clean the dishes but I do not like that slow dry overnight feature dishes still had water drops on them in the morning. Several months ago I have noticed that it wasnt cycling through and draining the water out and it would just ding ding ding until I hit the start cancel button for three seconds to drain the water out. After much frustration I realized it wasnt my inability to run the dishwasher and that there must be something wrong and I called to have a repairman look at it and he said it needed a whole new electrical board and it would cost more to repair it than to replace it. So after A dishwasher that is only four years old. I will have to replace it and it was $750.00 to buy the same unit today. I will be looking for something else.

The dishwasher worked perfectly for 4+ years. It cleans dishes better than my previous dishwasher. Unfortunately Ive experienced numerous problems from water leaks to a bad control module in the last year. Currently Im experiencing a problem that is intermittent and frustrating.

Bought thus dishwasher in 2019 installed in 2020...2024 drive motor goes out. Its the only part that is warranty and for 10yrs ...but I have been fighting for 3wks to get a part that should have got in 7-10days no one has helped or reached out l... wouldnt recommend LG

What motor warranty?

After two years the motor started making a high pitched sound when running. Shortly afterwards it stopped working altogether giving an error code. After research the error was an indication that the motor had stopped working. I called for the motor warranty and was told that there would be a minimum charge of $200.00 for the call to come fix it and parts probably another $100.00. So to replace the so-called 10 year warranty motor it would cost me $300.00. Considering that I would still end up with a used dishwasher after paying the $300.00 we just decided to purchase a different dishwasher and go to a different brand.
