Unfortunately the dishwasher on works great if you completely hand wash the dishes before loading. We primary use ours to sanitize only. We have had a few dishwashers over the years and this is by far the most disappointing one we have had.

We purchased this dishwasher about 2 months ago. Overall it cleans well although will leave the dishes wet. This is especially true if you dont use the Extra Dry feature. We got the Black Stainless Steel color and this is where I have the biggest issue. As you can see in the image the Stainless steel is no match for my cat who has managed to badly scratch the front see image. It appears not sure that the black coloring is actually a film placed over regular stainless steel.

Worst dishwasher ever

We bought this dishwasher about two years ago. We loved it when we got it it seemed great. All of a sudden it makes a horrible noise while it is turned on the front panel is constantly glitching and beeping when the dishwasher is running. It just stopped working properly. When we use the app smart diagnosis it says nothing is wrong when it is absolutely clear there is something very wrong with it. We are incredibly disappointed. Oh and of course the 10 year warranty doesnt cover these issues.

I bought this dishwasher to match my awesome LG refrigerator. It has been a complete disappointment. I spent over an hour with customer service trying to figure out why the dishes kept coming out as dirty as they were going in only wetter. If you have no other options use the strongest cycle and plan to towel dry everything. That way you can also see everything that was left behind. Theres an added perk

Had for almost 2 years and its broken twice

We have had this dish washer for almost 2 years and it has broken twice. The motor breaks down. It is easy to diagnose through the phone and over the app. But it impossible to get anyone to fix it. By the time technician gets to my house it will have taken 7 weeks and 3 phone calls to get it fixed. The technicians always say to buy the cheapest ones as they last longer then the fancy ones next time I will listen. When it works it cleans well...but its not worth the hassle.

Will Not Turn On Out Of Box

I received this dishwasher prior to having the electrical work finished in my kitchen. When I plugged it in it would not turn on. I had a licensed professional electrician confirm that the dishwasher was indeed being supplied with power. My only options are bad ones. I could return this unit and buy a new one. However I would have to then pay $500 again to have the new one installed. Also this particular dishwasher is out of stock so who knows when I would even receive it. My other option is to have one of LGs service techs come to assess and possibly fix the dishwasher. However they cant even get someone scheduled to come to my house because everyone is so backed up. And if the verdict is that I need a new unit then Im back to option #1 anyway. The worst part of this has been the response or lack thereof from LG customer service. I thought this would be a simple fix. Send someone out and replace it if needed. After all this stuff happens. However dealing with LG has been a nightmare. I have been on the phone with them all day and they are generally entirely incompetent. I was told that someone would come to my house today. Knowing that this was highly unlikely I called back and was told no one was scheduled to come at all. That is one example but sums up my entire day with them. I still have no idea when someone will come look at the dishwasher and they refuse to process a replacement until someone does. I will never buy LG products again.

Bottom Rack is extremely poor design

Horrible appliance. Got problems with it within couple of months after buying it. LG took more than a year to contact a service center and get the appliance repaired. Again after that I got problems with the same appliance and have extended warranty. And again LG cannot find service center in the area. Not sure why they sell such poor products and warranty when they have no service centers in the area. Strongly recommend anyone to not buy LG appliances.

Disappointed

I bought this dishwasher just over a year ago and I have tried everything suggested for the best results. It claims to get the toughest food off dishes and it works if you wash them before using the dishwasher. I use the recommended detergent and rinse agent. All too often my cutlery is still dirty especially if I use the third rack. Its very quiet but Id take a little more noise for cleaner dishes. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
