Like the lay out of the frig with the long slide out shelf for quick access. Had trouble with this model with several service calls. Now when we leave for extended time we dont shut it down completely. Working well with this.

We bought 3 LG appliances in 2018 and had them reserved to be delivered and installed in 2019 when renovations were complete. All 3 appliances have failed us The fridge had a recall on the compressor which they came and fixed but then the freezer stopped working which they had to come back to fix. Since July of 2024 the ice maker no longer dispenses ice. It makes the ice but cant dispense it anymore. The LG dishwasher we bought at the same time well its motor fried on us twice It still is temperamental and doesnt always work And its been a few months now that the LG electric stove we bought decided to malfunction: its main burner no longer turns on. An absolute disgrace on quality of products.

Our compressor died in our 6 year old refrigerator. It was under warranty but LG was so terrible to work with that we couldnt get anyone to do the work because of LGs reputation of not paying people. Bottom line is we never got it fixed because it cost more than a new refrigerator and we will never buy another LG product again

This product is absolute garbage cannot get repaired by local repair men. They wont touch it They cant get parts. You are forced to use LG repair. Can take up to a week To get out to attempt to fix. Product has not run for a period of two consecutive years without problems most the time problems arose 2 to 3 times a year

I have been waiting 11 days to have our refrigerator fixed. They took $419 and the tech came out once and it didnt fix it. He then came back but lied and said he was at another job and still didnt fix it. Customer Service has done nothing but give me the run around about him coming back out. He is not scheduled or coming. They took my money and wont give it back or even try to fix this our refrigerator. I am pregnant and we have 3 kids and have been living out of a cooler. It is insane how this place can take hard working peoples money and not communicate between the techs and the service not getting done. Worst experience of my life.

I bought this model back in 2015 so Ive had it for 9 years since this date 8-26-24. The fridge has been working like a champ for all this time except for 2 things that I will touch up later. It cools the food in the fridge and freezes the food in the freezer as it should. The fridge has enough space for all our groceries and more. Great compartments to separate foods and I love the LEDs that brighten up the interior. The door in door feature is very helpful in getting often used items milk water creamer from the fridge without letting the cold air out or a least not as much as opening the whole door - the main reason we got it. The stainless-steel look goes with our decor. After many years of use I did find out a thing or two: one - I wouldve like for the deli tray to have its own exterior door - currently I have to open both doors to access the full wide bottom tray. I do know that LG has such a tray but it is not the one we have. Besides that design inconvenience I have nothing but praise for the design. The shelving can be adjusted to fit any type of container food or trays. Now my 2 exceptions that gives this LG 4 and not 5 stars. About a year ago I started seeing water drip from the ice bin above the water/ice dispenser. I had to turn it off and now depend on the second ice bin producer in the freezer. Not sure what it is but I dont need it since I still have the freezer bin it is an inconvenience. I will look into getting it fixed soon. The other thing that took away a star rating is that the compressor decided to stop working. I called LG for trouble shooting and after repair main came he verified that it was the compressor. It was fixed and everything is working as before. I hope it keeps running for another 9 years if not more. I do know that the compressor has an original 10-year warranty so I didnt pay for the compressor but I had to pay for the service - $500 and change. Hope this helps someone.

Lots of space. Connects to wifi and app pretty easily. Light always starts out dimmer than I like. Drawers are kind of cheaply made of thin plastic. Not using the ice maker as this is the number one failure item according to online comments.

Big fridge worked for 7 years. Compressor went bad part was covered but not labor $450 and I thought it was worth it to fix. Then coils went bad Not covered at all $300 plus labor now there is a restriction in the lines which is preventing freon from getting through to cool it. Long story short I will never give LG another dime. In the end I spent so much money to fix an unfixable fridge and should have just bought a new one. Customer service did tell me to expect their products to last 5-7 yeras which is insane to me.

Absolutely horrific experience. Paid $2600 for the refrigerator and bought it January of 2018. July if 2021 The compressor broke...LG honored their warranty and replaced it for free parts and labor. June of 2024 and the compressor just went AGAIN and now the labor is completely on us $900. Not only that but each time we lost all the contents of the refrigerator $250 +/- first time $450+ the second.

For the cost the refrigerator should last at least 20 years. 9 years and the compressor quit working. There is not a technician that will work on LG product. If so they want to charge the cost of a new unit.

Ive had a number of years using my LG refrigerator and i love it but recently the compressor stoped working. I had it repaired and found that the compressor was still under warranty. I contacted LG and they told me get it fixed and that the compressor was under warranty but it had been over 5 years so the labor was not covered. I said thats was fine. I contacted LG again with the work order as instructed. Needless to say no luck getting paid. I will never purchase another LG product.

We bought our LG fridge in 2018 and it has been awesome to have in our busy home. Lots of storage room putting essentials in the outer door area for easy access without having to open the main door and letting cold air out. The shelves have been easy to move and adjust and has been great having the ice and water in the door and the extra ice maker in the freezer below.

Good Refrigerator. Problems are the door bins are somewhat too large. The items slide around when you open or close the doors. No way to keep the drinks in the bottom drawer from rolling around. Also the description I read about this unit said it had ThinQ technology. It doesnt. This may not have been LGs fault.

Functionality this refrigerator was good. I enjoyed how accessible things were in the door without opening the tire refrigerator door. The freezer drawer is big and could do with more separation. Overall this refrigerator was too expensive for the problems incurred during ownership. The refrigerator stop freezing lost a lot of groceries but got $200 or $250 max back and then it stop making ice. I wouldnt buy the style refrigerator again but not an LG too many issues. Ill stick to the old brand I used that focus on household appliances and not just technology.

Worst refrigerator in history Compressor went out and then fridge went out all within 5 yrs. LG does not cover hardly anything in their warranty and labor is very expensive for repairs. The managers and employees do not care about quality or customer service. You are better off with a fridge from the 70s-90s as they will last longer.

I have had the fridge for 7 years I liked the fridge because it has the separation door on the right side to reach thing stored in the door without opening the entire door. I also liked that it had the ice bucket in the freezer section for making bulk ice. I bought the entire kitchen package when I purchased it Fridge Oven Dishwasher and Microwave. All except the fridge have been great. The fridge however did just need to have the compressor replaced due to the known issue. That cost $649.00 the part was covered because LG extended the warranty due to the issue but the labor by LG cost the $649.00. I hope the new one last longer than 7 years.

My BAD Experience with a LG French Door Frig

This review is for a replacement for the exact same refrigerator that was returned to Lowes under their 30 return policy in 2016. The first refrigerator unit had bad taste issues with both ice makers. LG even sent two engineers to inspect the unit from Korea and they could not determine what was causing the issue. The second exact refrigerator model experienced ice issues with the door ice maker within about 3 years. LG replaced the ice maker for cost of the labor only but was still about $350.00. The LG Linear compressor failed in this refrigerator after at about 7 1/2 years. Even though the compressor had a ten year warranty it cost me about $600 to have LG come out and replace it. I was told the new compressor was a new redeigned unit with upgraded software. I am not a fan of the current LG warranty labor pricing. Also I can not rrecommend the purchase of thlis particular model of a LG refrigerator.

Five year old refrigerator and had to replace the compressor when it was 3 years old then New internal water dispenser valve 24 months later. Now at five years old a new condenser. Ive spent more money in repairs than what I paid for the refrigerator.

I bought our door in door refrigerator in June 2017 but it was delivered until July of 2017. I also bought the 5 year service plan. I January of this year we noticed it was not cooling as it should. We call for service in Feb. 2024 and were told to go out and buy a refrigerator thermometer so we could tell the service people what the temperatures in the box and freezer were. We did that and paid about $12.00 for the thermometer. Temps were not what they should be. LG service told us to turn it colder so we did. Nothing changed and we had to throw away MORE food. We call ed service and told them and they said they would send a service person to our home to repair it but since it was out of warranty we would have to pay. I looked in the booklet that cam with the refrigerator and it said the compressor had a 10 year warranty. I informed LG service and they told me I would still have to pay for the service. The service person came and installed a new compressor and I had to pay $584.69 supposely for the service. This is hard to believe that the 1 hour and 35 minute service call was this much money. We talked to 2 other people we know that have LG refrigerators and they had the same problem in about the same period of time Theyd were told by LG that LG had some bad compressors. They got their refrigerator repaired at NC. I do not understand why we had to pay for ours. A defective compressor should be repaired at NC.

I brought this refrigerator in 2019 and twice had to replace the linnear compressor. It was not cheap and was not covered under any warranty. I will not buy this refrigerator or any LG refrigerator again. The compressors go out to easily and often. But the refrigerator itself I loved. Especially the third door. Just wished another company made it.

Bought in 2017. Replaced compressor in 2020 just replaced it again February 2024. Each time lg paid for the cost of compressor and labor the first time. Had to pay labor for 2024. $450.00 dollars . Very poor compressors. Still have three more years on 10yr. Warranty.

We replaced the compressor in the last month so we essentially ended up with a brand new fridge .
So far we love the indoor ice and water and the bright new inside and the extra halfway door that enables you to grab the coffee creamer milk or soda without opening the whole fridge.
