Poor parts and support

Bought this 2 1/2 years ago and washer arm already came off. Everything is plastic. Tried calling LG support over 10 times and spent over 4 hours trying to find out how to fix it but that was useless. Worst customer support you can imagine. You just get transferred from one dumb person to the next. Finally found the plastic part from a 3rd party appliance parts website and it was 159.00. Thats if I put it on. I have 4 LG appliances but that doesnt matter to them. I suggest looking to another brand.

At this point I wish I could give this zero stars. The machine was purchased 12/26/20. I pronounced it dead February 1 2020. Early when it was under warranty the pump had to be replaced. And then recently this year it started leaking. It turns out LG in their infinite wisdom chooses not to use hoses and hose clamps because that would make too much sense. Instead its a female fitting with an O-ring inside. it had started to leak by the block on the side of the dishwasher. In order to replace the two hoses and the block wouldve been $548. Unreal. I disconnected the boat anchor and put it at the curb. I bought a Bosch instead.

Not worth the money.

My dishwasher is 3 years old and the motor and wiring harness went on it. LG covered the motor but not harness. $450 for part and labor on it. Not worth it. Very angry.

Short life - NO factory service available.

Dishwasher died just after warranty period. I called LG and requested service but they informed me that factory service is unavailable in my marked. Per their suggestion I called a LG authorized service center. They arrived and diagnosed as a main board failure but they didnt have a replacement part in the truck and they would have to order it and charge me another fee to install it. They charged me for the visit just to diagnose not repair the problem and informed me that the repair would be approximately $700. I called LG again and they offered no additional assistance. Bottom line - this top of the line unit should not have failed this quickly.

Love our new dishwasher

Very happy with our new dishwasher. Cleans beautifully love the night time option resulting in more complete drying. The options for dish arrangement is excellent. The option panel is comprehensive but easy to set up. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

In less than 3 years the dishwasher has broken down twice. Both times with failed parts. It took over a month for them to ship the parts the last time it broke down. Also the racks have started to rust.

Worst dishwasher I have ever purchased. The bottom racks dish prongs are so loose they fall over and every time you open or close the door all of the dishes fall over and chip and break. I have called 5 times 3 of which I was told I would be getting a new bottom tray. Nothing ever happens. I bought the entire suite of appliances and love all of the others but this one is horrible.

The circuit board went out and the buttons on top dont work now. We called to get it fixed and they couldnt find a technician in our area so then they said they would refund us. It has been about 2 months and more than a dozen calls in and we still dont have a solution/refund.
