Range good - support lousy

After four years of use I can state this is a good product. However technical and part support is an entirely different matter as the stem that controls the oven function retracted into the control panel with no evidence of breakage or damage. The knob just fell off and the stem is perfectly intact resting inside its hole with the letter F stamped on the end. After relating all the info to tech/ customer service and parts none could tell me what the issue was. This is an obvious concern especially when LG own personnel are clueless. Both range and oven have work -ed well yet whats the good if you cant get the support needed when failures occur? And they will occur.

Yes, I recommend this product

Great looking unit but not perfect

I think it is a great looking unit with a pretty impressive appearance that will stand out in any mid tier kitchen in terms of equipment. I have been pleased with its overall performance except for the oven broiler feature in the ceiling of the oven it takes a long time to ignite which makes it unpractical. However everything else has been great until one of the switches placed inside a panel located in the outer back wall of the unit stopped working that switch controlled the self locking mechanism of the stove. Out of nowhere it started tripping and to protect itself the system would automatically self lock all oven features making it 100 unusable. LG service was able to diagnosed and fix the issue after two visits the part had to be ordered and they did not only replaced the fried switch but the whole module where the switch was plugged into.The unit is back to normal repair was about $375 but I was very disappointed to encounter such an issue with an upgraded pretty pricey model that we only bought three years ago and still looks brand new. The oven capacity is great I am able to cook multiple dishes at once. I wish there was some sort of broiler or additional heating unit at the BOTTOM of the oven to improve browning process specially on baked goods such as breads and pizzas that require a nice bottom crust. I have not been able to achieve that in this oven without the use of a pizza stone of some sort of special bakeware Dutch oven etc.

Inconsistent oven performance

One of the worst gas ranges that we have ever purchased. Nothing but issues from the beginning. Oven has never had a consistence heating. Bake the same thing numerous times and never get the same results. Service personnel came out and surjected that we purchase different cookware. Wife is a lifelong baker and uses professional cookware and has never had issues baking breads and pastries.
