Never buy a LG TV Again

Have had my OLED55B7A TV for 6 years and have all the same issues as those complaining here. As mentioned in the posts here at about 4 years the reds were horrible a lot of burn in and it appears I have colored lines in my future as well. I did the pixel thing and visited the great link for help and got nothing out of it. I have never spent a lot on a TV but took a chance and obviously like the others here got cheated out of my money. I even specifically asked the sales people about color fading and burn ins and was assured that this would not happen and that this TV would last 20 years. I guess LG trained those who sell this TV well or they lied to them to ensure the TV would sell and could grow their bottom line. As most here I will never buy another LG tv again. Dont bother to reply LG I already know you have no real answers or resolution for this. Unless you are going to replace this piece of junk with a brand new TV for free and no strings attached I am done.

This tv has performed well with a great OLED picture. The YouTube App is especially problematic however The like button is always selected and cant be changed. I did experience some burn-in but I am satisfied with how LG handled the panel replacement out of warranty. They had a local repair company replace the panel and only charged me for that panel which is far less then the tv cost new. Id like to know how fix YouTube rather then have to get another streamer

Big Green dot on screen

This TV sucks and LG customer service is horrible. A big green spot showed up on my TV. LG called it burn in. Not what I expect from a premium television. And customer service said they wouldnt fix it because the TV is older than 4 years. Ive had other LED tvs over 10 years with no burn in. If you pay this much for an OLED it shouldnt be defective. LG has know about this issue for years and now they wont fix it.

I bought this TV in August of 2018. This week like many others noticed shadows on faces to a full out green spot in the middle of the TV. The TV was great up until this pointed was purchased after hearing a friends joy of a similar TV from the year before. Since then purchased multiple LG products and Im concerned about their longevity especially a wide screen monitor that cost nearly as much purchased last year. I have multiple brand TVs in my home that are double the age without this issue.
When downloading the warranty information to see if I am eligible for repair the PDF shows up to 5 years but customer service tell me that my model is not covered even though the LG website says it is. After four phone calls and multiple hours on hold I am still trying to get this resolved. Unfortunately most likely will not be purchasing LG products in the future.

I bought this TV OLED55B7A in 2018. What a wonderful TV that continues to not disappoint. The image quality is great and we really couldnt be happier with the set. No issues with image retention or burn-in after 5 years. I did my research before I bought this TV and knew about the possibilities but just used the mitigating recommendations and havent had a problem. If there was a problem it would be the HDMI ports as the the cables can wiggle or loosen over time. I found a way to suspend the cables so that wont happen anymore. Still a great TV and when the time comes will be buying another.

Great TV for almost 4 years until screen burn in

I purchased this TV just before the Super Bowl in 2018 and it was amazing at the time. Now issues great picture and sound. Good UI. But today I noticed screen burn in at the bottom of the screen. I noticed that the burn in marks are the exact same pattern and position as these yellow lines from Fox 2 News broadcast.
I ran screen burn tests and saw that the burn in the center of the screen was bad as well. Looking at these reviews I can see that this was a known issue with this model and there doesnt seem to be a fix. Ive ran the pixel refresher before and kept the screen saver on and display limits modest.
