Intense Color on Perfect Black

Picture night skies as dark as night skies themselves. Against the infinite, inky darkness of perfect black, colors pop and images come alive. LG OLED pixels are what make it all possible, each turning on and off individually for truly infinite contrast.

Enjoy the most HDR content

From brilliant brights to deepest darks, LG OLED TV offers the ultimate expression of high dynamic range. Unlike some other 4K televisions, LG OLED TVs support Dolby Vision *, optimizing the picture scene-by-scene, as well as the new HLG HDR standard so viewers get more options for premium content.

Gorgeous Picture No Matter How You Look At It

From the front or from the side, every seat in the TV room gets a clear, vibrant picture without washed-out tones. The unique design of LG OLED TV assures that any view is a great one, not just for those in the center.

Watch what you want, when you want

Netflix Recommended TV recognizes Smart TVs that meet strict criteria for a superior Netflix experience, such as easy app access and new features. For the third year in a row, LG TVs have the distinction of being recommended by Netflix!

SLING TV

Introducing A La Carte TV, the only live TV service that lets you personalize your channel lineup and save. Customize with your favorite extras like Sports, Comedy, Kids, News, Hollywood, Lifestyle and more. Watch 7 Days Free! Restrictions apply.

Blade slim design to blend with any home décor

No thicker than a pencil at its thinnest point, the ultra-sleek design is so slim it's even beautiful from the side. Revolutionary LG OLED technology uses individually lit pixels, requiring no backlight, so it can be mounted closer to the wall than other TVs or be placed on a tabletop where it complements any room.

Burnout Is Inevitable Support Is Awful

BamboozledByOLED 12/12/2020

After 2.5-3 years I started to seee color mismatches on the screen. Luckily it was still under warranty. When I called customer to have it replaced it was a nightmare. I was written off and connected with unreliable third party services. After nearly 6 months things were finally resolved when they delivered and installed new part for me. Even then getting rid of the broken part was also a nightmare since their employed third party service didnt want to pick it up. I would recommend avoiding this hassle. LGs product is sketchy and although their CS is responsive the third party service technicians they employ are not helpful. LGs supports communication and coordination with their third party service is a nightmare. No one was ever on the same page and I found myself describing and recapping my situation so many times.

OLED Total Experience

JC10 12/11/2020

I purchased this product about 3 years ago based on reviews I read and also side by side comparison with other brands. I did not regret the purchase however about 2 months ago I began to notice image burn. This should not be happening to a fairly new purchase. LG customer service was helpful eventually sending me a new replacement screen. Going on six weeks now and I still havent received the return shipping label so that the damaged screen can be returned to LG for proper recycling. Im sorry but this experience has impacted my rating for this product.

This tv is amazing.

Horsesurfer 12/11/2020

Ill start with the cons so we can end on a high note. The screen after six months began to have this rectangle in the middle of the screen. It wasnt noticable unless it was a single color. The pros: lg customer service sent someone over with a new display for my tv. This is the best tv I have ever owned. Bought it after I got a promotion to replace my store brand 720p tv that I owned for ten years. The upscaling is amazing. The dolby vision blew my mind. There are some tutorials online to tune the TV and I suggest if you own this tv to check them out.

Outstanding Picture But Not For Everyday Use

Jerry311 12/11/2020

This OLED TV has the most outstanding picture I have ever seen in a TV. However it is not a television that is intended for everyday family use. If you watch news sports or any content that has constant information displayed it will burn in. This hurts subsequent displays including movies etc. If you only use it for a cinema focused content this is the most excellent choice. If this is used everyday for all around use chose something else because burn in is real. OLED was taken out of airline terminals for just this reason.

Great features and size.

KevM 12/11/2020

Bought this just over 2 1/2yrs ago. Was working great but then noticed screen burn-in in several places on the screen. Finally got the screen and electronics replaced with newer technology that should prevent this from happening again. Happy with the results so far after about 8 months.

Died in two years

RyanS4567 12/8/2020

I bought the TV and was absolutely thrilled with the picture quality. I loved it. But then the burning happened. The image was ruined by unknown manufacturing bug and LG refused to fix it. Now I have a giant worthless television. Please do not buy.

Unreliable product but good service

Pacfan 12/6/2020

I bought this tv based on great reviews but now regret. The picture went completely out after about a month and service came out to replace the entire electronics board. Then I experienced severe screen burn in and just replaced the entire screen. Service department was much needed and much appreciated.

Jtszegs 12/6/2020

I have had the tv for a while now. The picture is amazing and I appreciate the ease of use of the menus and interface. I have noticed some burn in if an image is left on the screen for too long. Be careful so you dont damage the screen.

Good image at first then terrible after a year.

SteveMF 9/21/2020

Great colors and quality but before the TV was 2 years old some strong lines formed down the screen. It sounds like an issue others have had once the TV does a behind the scenes pixel refresh after 2000 hours. This doesnt seem like burn in more of an image defect. So if you want your TV to last more than 2000 hours probably look elsewhere.

Screen Burn In after one year

jagrand 2/29/2020

I started to see screen burn in about one year ago when there are red and green back grounds. I have been very careful about not doing the things that can cause burn in but to no avail. I see the mute on symbol to the right of the screen and lots of lettering across the bottom of the screen probably from watching news channels. My 7 year old LED TV doesnt show any burn in and I watch the same programs as the OLED TV. This was a very expensive TV when purchased less than 2 years ago. I has been repaired 3 times already. Power supply once and the motherboard twice under an after market extended warranty. Now the screen issue

Beware Burn In

ilmwpitts 2/21/2020

At first this TV was great and lived up to the expectations I had of an LG product as I had heard great things about them. Unfortunately in less than 2 years I have experienced severe burn in that may require replacement of this TV. Ive included a photo of my TV pause during a Golden Corral commercial to illustrate this problem. The shadows show up while watching all sorts of content if the background colors are right. I plan on contacting LG about the issue but I am not very hopeful even though from what I have read there was a manufacturers defect in some of these screens due to an uneven cooling process. Well see if I remain a fan of LG or if I will have to warn friends and family away from their products

Best picture ever... BUT... now we have issues

lcbjr77 2/11/2020

RE: OLED55B7 A-U purchased 12/2017 Hello one of the best pictures I have ever seen....blacks are deep black and you can view it any angle without distortion. It is truly a masterpiece. While watching football one day my fiancee made a comment about the yellow jerseys looking green. I just though it was the cable... Nope after seeing it again on a another show I put an all yellow screen up and now we have this. This is very disheartening I did so much research before purchasing this television and its just over two years old. I hope LG will stand behind their product and make good if not i will have to look art another brand. Larry B

Beauty is in the technology

JB10212 12/17/2019

I have had this TV for about two years now and I love it as much as when I first turned it on. A couple points i needed for my enjoyment from a new tv is it had to be 4K HDR check it had to to be Dolby Atmos compatible check and it had to be within my spending limit check. I never expected the visual beauty of LGs color and how the black look black and not washed out with shades of gray. When I say black I mean when screen blanks out for a second before a commercial comes on it looks like the TV is turned off. That kind of black goes a long way in watching shows the way they were meant to be by the creators. The only drawback for me is LG does not allow me to upgrade the WebOS from version 3.x to version 4.5 bringing a nicer design layout and much more functionality.

Permanent Screen Burn-in After Only 14 months

norm114 2/18/2019

I bought this television OLED55B7A for home use only 14 month ago based on the good reviews it received. I am now sorry I did. About a month ago the screen showed green images of the CNN logo and breaking news banner. These images are literally burned-in and cannot be removed by the TVs pixel refresher software. I would recommend against the purchase of any LG OLED-based television until the company either commits to repair burned-in screens or installs technology to eliminate the burn-in problem.

OLED - Wow - Still Impressed

Winniesdad 2/14/2019

Amazing contrasts and the black is BLACK. A relative that works in the computer graphics industry came by. One of the first things he mentioned was how black the black was. We were watching a 4K CGI movie. Even when watching off the air programming only 720p or 1080i the clarity/contrast/color is great. Even ice hockey is not too fast. My only negative is when using the built-in browser. I have fairly fast internet 100Mbps that is hard-wired to the TV. The performance via the browser is less than optimal. Using other built-in streaming functionality e.g. Amazon Prime works very well. Hence my complaint about the browser is very minor. Thumbs up for LG OLED TVs
