Cleaning this cooktop, NOT WORTH IT

we ordered this cooktop due to the reviews (at first were amazing) and because it was beautiful. we have yet to find a way to clean the cooktop to be 100%. and then the grates... that is an entire different story. we cannot get the grates clean no matter what. we have tried everything samsung has told us to do to no avail. there is also the fact you cannot cook on all burners at once unless you are using 6" pots/pans. ridiculus. the product looks nice but definitely not worth the money or hassle.

We did not buy the hood, so we are not using the Bluetooth, but having all of our kitchen appliances on the Samsung Hub is amazing. My only complaint is this puts out too much heat, especially compared to our old cook top. My wife got in the habit of always cranking the temperature all the way up and now she is overheating our cookware. Nice problem to have. This cook top is very easy to clean, has space between the burners for the pots and handles, the grid is very stable including for the griddle and our wok. We both like to cook and this cook top make it very easy to produce complex meals. I like it a lot.

After a tremendous amount of research, we purchased an entire kitchen of what was supposed to be the latest and greatest appliances. They are beautiful. Being an avid cook, I find the griddle to be excellent. However, the gas cooktop has a major design flaw. Unless you are using 6" or "8 pots and pans, two will not fit safely on one side of the cooktop. For example, a 10" pan and 8" pot will touch in the center and will almost hang off of the front and back of the grates. To make matters worse, if you use the griddle with any combination of pot/pan combination, the area becomes extremely hot. I have reported this to Samsung three (3) times via customer service with zero response and once via a sales rep for Lowes a couple of times who has told me to work it out with Lowes and not had any further contact despite photos and requests. So, check your pot and pan sizes prior to considering.
