stove is just over 1 year old. the black stainless finish starting wearing off after 6 months. we only use microfiber cloths to wipe it down. work order requested, $300 hold on my card. ridiculous. 2 days before work was to be completed to fix this issue, oven stopped heating up. would get to temp and shut down. from the error code, i understand this is the blower malfunction. for a $3000 product i would not expect both mechanical and cosmetic issues so quickly and a crappy warranty to boot.

i'm so disappointed with the fact that our oven door started peeling. this isn't covered under warranty but it should be. i spent money to purchase the new door - and am hoping that this door does not peel. we shall see. i feel that samsung should reimburse for this - obviously something wrong with how it was manufactured. love the oven itself - that has been the only issue.

the wifi lost connection after 1 week in 2018 and has not connected since.
samsung tech support could not fix the issue and there is no way to hard reset the software so that you can re-setup the stove all over again

This is a great range and is very beautiful but I had issues with getting an "Open Door" alert while baking above 350. It happened out of the blue and I thought it may have been a software glitch. I contacted Samsung about the issues and they "Immediately " ent someone out to check the unit out. They replaced the oven door, "Twice". I haven't used the range since having the new door put on but I will in the near future. My wife loves the range. In my opinion, the unit is great for people like me who only use it once or twice a month. I don't believe that the unit can handle a vigorous cooking regime. It is very sensitive and can be damage if care is not taken. If someone uses the unit and they are not used to handling appliances with care, then please don't buy this unit. The doors cannot be slammed or closed hard.

I love the double oven feature which allows me to bake 2 different things at the same time, having a griddle on top is a bonus.
Only con for me is I can't find a child proof for the knobs although you can lock the touch screen.

i bought this stove 1 year ago. i have taken very good care of it as it was very expensive. i cook a lot but also keep my appliances clean. i noticed the top of the stove is peeling and increases every time i cook and the stove gets hot. i am very disappointed as i thought i was buying a high quality product. i have samsung phones, tv's and a refrigerator. i am dissatisfied with this stoves quality. i need some sort of help before the stoves paint completely chips off/ peels off.

tried to contact support and there was no way to get the local representative in my city, even tought they offer the service.

warning !!!do not buy!!!!
firstly after registering the product i found out that my warranty expired 8 months before i bought it. so after been told that this was the latest model, the warranty is expired.
secondly, a week after install and using the oven with/in convection mode for the first time we got this awful metal on metal sound.
already had to call about the fridge where we got an awful noise after 3 days and samsung canceled the service call, by email. now we have the same noise and error messages on the fridge as well. so samsung is 2/4 in pieces of junk right now. only the microwave and dishwasher seem to be working after a week.

less than a month into using the range the fan started making a terrible noise and the temperatures were incorrect. a repairman adjusted the fan so that it wasn't making contact and changed the temp settings. that worked for a few more months and again the fan is hitting something even at low over temps.
another issue that i have is that the racks are difficult to pull out. my old electrolux racks pulled out easily with one hand.
i normally love samsung products but i sure wish i have bought a different range.
i am trying to get another repair started and i have to wait 1 hour for a call back. i tried the samsung website and was told that they would get back to me in 2-3 days. this is very poor customer service.

we built a new home and equipped it with all samsung black stainless appliances. this was june 2018. within 6 months we had our washing machine serviced, our microwave had to have new door and board, our refrigerator had ice maker replaced. then 15 months into ownership, both boards for our washer were replaced and our oven was deemed non repairable. our dishwasher works poorly, and we have had some hiccups with our clothes dryer. i have owned many samsung phones and have the highest end tv, and happy with them but all 6 of my appliances have been a disaster and i have already replaced my oven which i accepted a prorated refund for. all in all a total disappointment in samsung appliances.

looks great initially but the paint is peeling. the too oven has not worked since we purchased it in november 2017. i have asked for assistance but was guided to do several troubleshooting techniques none of which worked. the bottom oven bakes and evenly. when baking a cake i have to rotate it so one side doesn't burn.
if i could get the oven to heat properly in the paint fixed i would be happy with this product.

I have had this range for about two years now. It is a great looking addition to the oven and I was hoping it was going to be a good compromise between spending a little extra for a high end brand.
I like the two ovens and the flat top is a sleek look. The double burner I find is less powerful than the front left one though and the middle flat top we do not use much as it hasn't been real handy.
The top oven fan went out about 18 months after purchase which the repairman tells me is a defect in the heating coil around it and it swells meaning the repair isn't just the fan. It was a $425 repair less than two years in. It sounds like a common problem.
I like the idea of the range, the look, and some functionality.

I bought this stove in 3/2018 and I have noticed that the paint is chipping and causing it to peel off! Very disappointing! I have called Best Buy and since they dont cover cosmetic they cannot replace it!! I have called samsung and customer service said that the technician will charge me due to being a cosmetic issue!! sooo disappointing!!!!

I bought this 6 months ago. Within three months the oven temperature was erratic and it wouldn't reach the correct temperature for 20-30 minutes after the oven said it was at temperature. The oven temperature would shoot up and broil everything. It became impossible to bake anything. I had Samsung come out twice. Both times they said nothing was wrong and recalibrated the oven. After the second time the oven was completely unusable. I called Samsung back and they threatened to charge me for a service call because nothing was wrong. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they said they would refer it to engineering and get back to me. I didn't hear from them for 2 months!!! I called Lowe's who I purchased it from and they immediately sent one of their own repair technicians out who verified the thermostat was not working and replaced it. Unfortunately within about one week the oven returned to its former performance of first cooking unevenly and then burning everything. Samsung has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! RUN AWAY!!!!

Unfortunately, I bought this gas duo flex range and it was a total mistake! We had Samsung's repair company out to fix the range multiple times, but they could not get the oven to heat properly. Using a temperature gauge, it never got above 250 degrees in the top oven. I couldn't cook properly for 6 months until Samsung finallly said they would replace it. Then, they took the stove back and now it's on backorder for 6 weeks! I wanted to get a different stove, but Samsung wouldn't allow me to buy something else. I'm stuck getting the same exact stove. It's the holidays now and I have to celebrate somewhere else because I don't have a stove. I haven't received the new one so I don't know if it will work. It's been beyond frustrating and difficult for daily cooking. Do not buy this range. You will regret it.

I bought this as a part of a whole kitchen remodel. Turns out they sent me a faulty oven and had to wait 2 weeks from install to even get a technician out to my house. I never realized the oven was faulty until now since my kitchen was still under renovation. Now I'm 2 months into my 12 month warranty and finally used it for the first time and Samsung is unwilling to adjust the warranty start. I am very dissapointed and the customer service agent was very rude when i tried to explain my concerns and wouldn't let me talk to a supervisor!

Purchased the Flex Duo to replace a Kitchen aide drop in. This range is the best, from the WiFi to the sturdy power burner. The dual oven feature is so convenient for cooking two different dishes requiring different temperatures and it easily converts to one single oven with the removal of the slide out divider. The stove top and grates are easy to clean and handle. The range is wonderful and well worth the price.

The dual oven concept seems like such a great idea. However, neither oven cooks very well. The top oven Burns everything on top of the food. And the bottom oven just never seems to stay at temperature. It's supposed to be convection, but the convection fan turns off all the time during cooking. Which means it isn't circulating the air. Which means you get burnt spot on your food. I complain to Samsung and they tell me that's how they designed it. Overall, I would not recommend this particular stove and oven. The performance is just too bad. My countertop toaster oven does a better job.

Beautiful looking stove but oven is very difficult to use and. Veryinconsistent. Doesn't heat up well, bake well and manual doesn't help out much. You can't change a temperature without turning oven off and starting over. Upper oven is only convection and cooks very inconsistently. Bottom oven doesn't seem to heat well with the divider in it yet upper oven gets hot even though not on. Very sorry I bought this!

I cooked several meals using both the cook,top and the upper oven. I love all the different burner types and the grill/griddle in the middle. Cooking bacon and pancakes directly on the stove felt very cool,and utilitarian. Although I haven't used both upper and lower portions, I have very much enjoyed just using the upper portion because it heats up so fast. I've baked blueberry muffins, lemon cake, and cookies and all cooked so evenly. I've never had a cake bake so evenly! When I took the cake out to cool, I went on my back porch...looking back into my kitchen, I saw that one of the knobs was illuminating blue, which means it is on. I went back inside to turn off the knob. Thankfully, the knob that was on was the oven light, but I can see how the blue lights can be a huge safety feature. My 6 year old knows what it means when the knobs are blue....its a simple yet genius feature. The touch screen is pretty easy to use. I recommend reading the user manual so that you can use all the features and maximize your use. The screen,is a bit sensitive, and I've hit buttons with my body when cooking. There is a feature that you can set up a smart thermometer in your meat that connects to the range. I haven't tried it, but it's a nice feature for Thanksgiving or other holidays when I cook a Large piece of meat or whole birds. There is also a storage drawer in the bottom that has a soft close. I wouldn't say its huge, but you can keep some pans down there. Overall, I think this range is beautiful, clean, sleek, functional, and fun. I truly feel like a chef in my own kitchen. My food is turning out better, and I'm having fun cooking. Check your gas line placement, and if its good to go, front hesitate to get this range because its pretty awesome.

I love the double oven on this product! Its so nice to be able to cook two items at once. My favorite thing about this product is that I can use the double oven separated but still use the entire space of the whole oven to cook a turkey by removing the piece inside that separates the two spaces. We chose this oven because of that feature.

Lets start with why I LOVE THIS RANGE!!! Its beautiful! I'm a baker and love the extra oven feature. Its still has the bottom drawer so your not lifting huge heavy pans off the floor when using the bottom oven. Other double ovens have removed the storage/warming drawer which makes you lift those heavy turkeys off the floor. I love the heavy quality of the cooking grates. The added wok burner for those rounded wok pans is awesome. The panel in the front does NOT beep when leaned on. I'm vertically challenged so this is a plus for me when I'm getting in to the microwave. Its just bakes beautifully!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!
The down side, I have an enamel bubble on the right side of the cook top. I'm worried that it will eventually chip. NO GOOD!!! Its beauty will diminish....The wok grate is a different color than the cooking grates. Just looks a bit off.
I love the sleek look of the slide in gas range. Its simply beautiful and really performs! I would buy this again and again!! The blue lights on the burners dont just look beautiful but will help with the visual if the burner just happens to be "ON" but not lit. Great safety feature. We purchased the entire suite for the kitchen and are in LOVE with the way the kitchen looks!

I love this stove. The fact that is has 2 oven compartments with a removable divider, so you can choose the compartment size. I also like the fact that it is "Samsung Smartthings" & "Smart Home" ready. I have linked it up to my phone and tablet so I can set my Convection Bake or Roast.

This gas range is amazing! Hands down the best looking, best performing, coolest gas range money could buy. I was hesitant looking at the price but after much debate with my wallet, we came to an agreement. I have used this for months now and are half way through the holidays. This thing hasn't even broke a sweat. I'm the type of person that would rather spend twice the amount of money to get a lifetime quality product. I know without a doubt this gas oven will be in our home for generations to come. The WiFi feature is neat but overkill. Zero issues connecting and using the Samsung app on my Note 5. It's funny when I'm at work and I get notified that the oven is on when my wife is cooking something at home. If you want the best gas oven money can buy (for an average home owner) THIS IS IT! Your debate is over. Just buy it and live the dream with me!

This is the most innovative range ever manufactured as far as I'm concerned. The dual door gives me so much freedom of choice. The electronic controls are intuitive and VERY user friendly. I absolutely LOVE that the oven automatically starts at 350 degrees (which we use 90% of the time) and automatically converts the time and temperature to convection mode. The five burners , each with its own specific purpose, are fantastic. I also love the griddle/grill which fits perfectly over the fifth oval burner is just fantastic and, again, gives me so many options. And I think I'll finally try wok cooking given that the stabilizing wok ring makes it so much safer. I haven't used the temperature probe yet (but I will soon), but it's a yet another feature (of so many this range offers) that is going to make cooking s great deal more precise and pleasurable. I am certainly going to be cooking a great deal more than I used to because this range just makes it fun! So, thank you Samsung, for yet another beautifully designed product!
