i have a samsung side by side refrigerator. the freezer and refrigerator drawers and freezer shelves continually fall off the tracks. because it is a shade over a year old samsung suggests i purchased new drawers and shelves to see if that helps. this with out knowing if it is the drawers or the refrigerator interior that is at fault. i have 4 samsung appliances and two large screen televisions a phone a computer and a tablet but i will ever own another thing from this company. i wish i could do less than one star.

so i moved into the house a year ago with brand new samsung fridge , it was cool till he broke. it last only a year , this was expensive mistake to have samsung refrigerator . we changed , ice machine , main electrical board and still same problem it doesn't make any ice . no technical support for usa they only have chat support where they will have someone help you to unplug your frige and put it back , reset screen and check if ice bucket is in place . if i knew they don't have technical support i would never buy samsung ! from now on none of my friends and family will buy any samsung product . very disappointed i though they are good brand !me as an hvac tech. will never recommend to my customer to get samsung product because of poor quality and no tech help!

the fridge was honestly fine for a while, slight issue with the ice maker but was fixed in the first year. then the fridge will not cool below 60 degrees, regardless of troubleshooting. i have a fridge from 1988 that is still very cold, and my barely used samsung died just after a few years.

this is the first new refrigerator i've had in years, and i am so pleased! it is huge inside, with more space than i really need. i love the in-door ice maker because it gives me so much space in the freezer. the drawers are large and easy to access in both the fridge and freezer. i wish they could be moved up higher, but that's not a deal-breaker. the led lighting took a bit of getting used to because it is so bright. if i really like to see what's inside, i have to move things away from in front of the lights. it is very quiet and cools everything very quickly. so far, no problems with freezer burn or foods not staying fresh. the only negative is the fingerprint issue on the door, but everyone knows about stainless and fingerprints. i'm happy!

we inherited this fridge from the previous homeowners, along with a suite of samsung appliances. literally each of these appliances has failed. the dishwasher is losing pieces daily. the oven randomly shuts off. the microwave light button broke and now the entire unit is useless. and this fridge... the real issues - the seals on the doors are weak. because of this, the door doesn't always shut all the way and the freezer ices over. but wait! that's not all! if you want to put a normal amount of food in this freezer you're out of luck. this too the freezer crusts over in a thick film of heavy, crusty frost. and, sidebar, what's up with the weird shelf height? don't buy this fridge unless you plan to live alone. it's s tiny and more uncooperative than a toddler at bedtime.

I bought this model 2 years ago and it's been just ok. My old GE fridge had infinite adjustable shelves (from the back) which this model only had a couple of shelf adjustments and that is it. The door shelves are very small and wished I had paid more attention to things like this as I think I would have been far happier. I think you can still get a Frigidaire model that has fully adjustable shelving. Also, the fridge part itself does not maintain a 37 degree temp. I had to adjust it to 39 to get 37 in the fridge.

Bought our fridge in 2016. Fridge started making a weird noise less than a year later. Opened fridge to NOT cold food (freezer was fine!) Called svc out to fix and they did, but again about a month ago (Oct 2018), NOT cold food in fridge. At 2 years old, I do not think this should happen....and DON'T even get me started on the loss of food cost. Will not consider Samsung next time I make an appliance purchase.

A little disappointed

We bought this three months ago and it's a little disappointing. Its operation is very quiet and it seems to keep food at an even temp, but the icemaker is a challenge. You press the button and wait........and all of a sudden ice comes out and often ends up all over the floor. Not acceptable. Also, when the cubes dump into the storage bin it makes quite a racket, which I understand is a trait of all in-the-door icemakers. I might add that in-the-door doesn't have the capacity of regular icemakers, but of course they give you more storage room in the freezer itself. We like the design of the shelves and drawers. I've also had to tighten up the handle on the refrigerator side twice. All in all, we prefer our 18 year old Amana over this new Samsung.

I don't know where they tucked all the mechanical bits necessary to move refrigerant around. This normal-sized fridge has half-again the capacity of the one we upgraded from. The in-door ice system leaves room for my frozen pizzas, even. The LEDs and the clear plastic help it seem roomy, too, making the chaos of a thousand tubs of leftovers feel navigable and clean.

Its beautiful and has all the room I need for a family of 4. I love that I can put our milk on the door. Deep door shelves are great. Bottom drawers are deep and provide ample storage. The freezer has drawers. They're wonderful! I love it I put my meat in the drawers on the bottom on the way. There's plenty of room. Nothing is overcrowded. Love the LED light! We also have the alarm on the door. Having a little kids who accidentally leave it open makes this a wonderful feature to have!

Great value with simple to use features

The RS25H5111 Side by Side is a great value for the price. We were convinced that a french door refrigerator was what we were looking for as we had two previous side by side models until we saw the Samsung. It has more interior space by design than our previous models by other manufactures. So far we love the product.

Great fridge for the price

Overall so far this has been a great fridge for the price. There are a couple of things I wish I had known before buying it. 1. The water for the ice maker is really loud. 2. You have to push your cup just right and firm to activate the water and ice. 3. The way the gear for the ice maker lines up on the inside wall of the freezer when you close it doesn't always line up properly and makes it harder to close the freezer door. All minor details but for the price you wouldn't think it would have those issues. Other than that we have been very well pleased with this product.

Great use of space!

The layout of this side by side is far better than any previous side by side refrigerators that I have owned. I especially like the defrost drawer in the refrigerator side of the appliance.

Disapointed in performance

We just purchased this beautiful looking refrigerator and within 6 months of having it we already started experiencing problems with the refrigerator side not cooling. The display reads a certain temperature but inside does not feel cold. Have had to reset it several times and then shows actual temp. No wonder why my food kept going bad in such a short period of time. This is a new fridge and shouldn't be having these issues already. Its been just a little over a year now and we are still having these same issues. All of the media and appliances we purchase are Samsung because of the design and quality but this one by far has been a huge disappointment. Now I'm stuck with a refrigerator that doesn't work and such an inconvenience after spending that much money.

Superior brand

We first purchased a different brand with the bottom door freezer. Bad decision. Went back with Samsung, paid just a little more but well compensated by quality and performance. From electronics to all appliances they are all Samsung. Not one complaint
