I've had this washer for a little over a year since my previous Samsung washer was recalled. It has the AquaJet feature that I previously thought I would not use. But since I now have it, it does come in handy for pre-soaking. I use the deep wash cycle often since it allows more water and more temperature control than the normal cycle. I am tall, so the deep reach to get clothes out does not bother me at all. I like that it is large enough to wash a comforter or sleeping bad in it, no more trips to a laundry mat after camping.

First let me say this unit replaced and older Samsung frontloader. We paid a lot of money for the previous unit and it lasted about 14 years. Rather than have it break down we decided to replace it and buy a Toploader.
The Toploader design without the agitator bar does not clean as well as the old style with. And we found after about 18 months of use doing a couple loads a day (family of 5) we now have mold flakes after washing on hot water. Yes the clothes come out dirtier than when you put them in.
Lowe's protection plan won't cover the repairs and Samsung offered us a rebate so I guess we're going to have to buy a new machine not pleased! They're not even offering half of what we paid! Do not buy!!!

When our old washer stopped working we changed to this model. Once it was delivered I immediately put it through it's paces with the dirtiest, biggest load I had on hand... which is easy to do with an active teenager in the house. This machine performed very well!!! Having not owned a Samsung washer before I researched it to find the reviews from actual homeowners. I am really liking it!!! This machine is very quiet and once the wash cycle is complete the clothes come out barely wet. My darks don't have residue on them at the end of the cycle (we have a large load of dark stuff to wash and I throw it all in at once), the multiple wash settings are perfect for this active family and the quick wash cycle will save me hours of washing uniforms on tournament weekends. Impressed with this washing machine for sure!!!

I HAD A TOP LOAD WHIRLPOOL WASHER FOR 20 YEARS, WITH NO ISSUES. I WANTED ANOTHER TOP LOADER AND SAMSUNG WAS RATED VERY WELL. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED IN ITS PERFORMANCE. I FEEL THE MACHINE IS NOT PUTTING IN ENOUGH WATER. SOMETIMES I HAVE TO STOP THE MACHINE AND START OVER BECAUSE WHEN THE WASH CYCLE STARTS, SOME CLOTHES ON TOP ARE NOT EVEN WET. I FIND THE AGITATION TWISTS THE CLOTHES AND THEY COME OUT FROM THE SPIN VERY TWISTED AND WRINKLED. MUCH MORE SO THEN MY OLD MACHINE. SOMETIMES THE DARK COLORS COME OUT WITH WHITE STAINS ON THEM. I RUB THEM AWAY BEFORE I PUT THEM IN THE DRYER. I FOLLOWED THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE BOOK SO I DON'T THINK I'M DOING ANYTHING WRONG. ALL IN ALL I AM NOT PLEASED WITH THIS NEW MACHINE.

This product has some great features as well as it performs very well. I have always had a washing machine that had the dasher in the center of the drum so I am still not sold that my clothes are getting clean. I just wish the setting were more lighted and larger for those of us that have failing eyesight. Also have issues getting socks and other small items out of the bottom of the washer due to my short stature.

I've tried to adjust to the up to date features on this washer, but after 6 months of using this washer, I'm fed up with it. I would not recommend it to anyone. The automatic water levels do not work. You have no control over the way it washes. I specifically bought this to wash bedding and large towels and I have to fight with it to do a good job. There is never enough water to clean the bedding or towels and I have to wash 2 or 3 times before it semi-cleans the items.

I am amazed at how quiet our new washer is. I also like how it uses just the right amount of water and clothes come out perfectly rinsed. We are so impressed we are planning on getting the matching electric dryer to go with our washer. controls are also easy to understand.

Have had this a week and so far so good. Seems to clean well and no issues I have found. Tub it very large, I am 5'3" and do have to really reach to get to the bottom. Large loads are balanced, nothing has been twisted and tangled after washing. Really like this washer so far. Like it much better than my previous GE front loader that always was out of balance and left clothes with a mildew smell. Will never have a front loader again. I was a little leery due to this model being on the previous recalled washers, but have always been happy with Samsung products and trust this company. Price was reasonable for the features and had more than what I need to wash clothes. Seems like it will be another great Samsung product.

Great machine. Quiet and reliable. The only thing I would be careful with is the plastic around the area you pour bleach. That area is prone to rust when using chlorine bleach.

my review is simply based on my personal preferences. I have now owned this washer for 3 months and wash approximately 4 loads a week... this is my first top loader without an agitator in the middle. I love the capacity, washing cycles, very quiet and easy to operate. the only thing I dislike is the agitation. I dislike the fact that without the agitator it doesn't get much rotation with the clothes. At least with a front load without the agitator the rotation is much better.

I purchased the original washer/dryer set in November 2015. No problems with the dryer. The original washer was recalled and I chose to exchange it with the same exact unit with the second unit being delivered in January 2017. I washed one load the same day of delivery of the second replacement unit and the machine was extremely loud, the drum was off balance and a rod shook loose onto the floor. The third same exact unit was delivered (under warranty) a week later. I sure hope I don't have problems with the third washer.

As title says this is a replacement for a 6 year old washer(We had no problem with recalled washer) but thought we would update. to this machine. It is easy to use, quiet, and does a great job. It offers a notice to run the "self clean" after a set # of loads. We always run the cleaning cycle on 1st of the month and keeps machine fresh and clean!! We bought from a local store that is a approved dealer and there price was as good as "Big Box" stores included delivery, set up, and scrapping of old machine.

This is a great workhorse! Quiet, efficient and I can put my comforter inside without worrying about it getting tangled up! The ONLY problem I have is that I am only 5'3 and the tub is VERY deep so when I go to get the clothes out of the bottom I have to stand on a little stool to get to the bottom of the machine! I'm afraid that I will fall in! I bought this style because I had the front loader last time and the bending down was hard on my back. This isn't as bad as that but I hope I don't shrink anymore!

This is a great machine. BUT if you get one be warned this is a high tech product it is not like the old school models with an agitator, READ THE MANUAL ON HOW TO WASH CLOSE IN THIS MACHINE. You will get a lot of errors when doing bedding if you don't fold the comforter in a square and stand it on end. If done correct no balance error and it will spin out so nice and with out much drying time in the dryer. ONCE AGAIN READ THE MANUAL IT IS YOUR BEST FRIEND. I love this washer.

So far this washer is working wonderfully for us. Having the large stainless steel drum is one of the best features. You can put a bunch of clothes in it and so far, they come out clean, rinsed and really dry. Which could explain the reduced drying time for the clothes.
I must state that this machine was purchased to replace a same model Samsung washer whose serial number had been recalled. I can also say, that the recalled washer worked just as well as the replacement.
All in all, I am very pleased with my decision to purchase this Samsung model washer, would do so again and would recommend this model to my friends. The only reason for a 4 star in design is I would have liked to see all four (4) feet be adjustable instead of just two (2).

I am very disappointed in this product. The bedding cycle does not work at all. It constantly stops and is unbalanced. Eventually it goes back and forth between rinse and spin, but keeps doing that until I change the bedding cycle to another cycle.. I would much rather have my old agitator type washer again. Most of the trouble is with the bedding cycle. I just prefer my old agitator machine to this type of machine.
